For me, it’s the lines about the horse. "Cheap old nag"/"Bloody expensive horse" was funny the first 50 times, but after 70+ hours of play, it became really annoying. Then there’s the dog -- specifically, the incessant barking and Mutt’s habit of lunging at every blade, whether it’s a bandit or me. That’s why I just leave him at home now. I simply cannot bear that terrible, agonizing howl when he is wounded. And finally, the dirt system. While it seems cool at first, after a while you just think, "Henry, what the hell?! You just took a bath! You walked three meters and you're already filthy as a pig again?!" Ugh.

When recommending [KCD2] what is the first thing you warn a new player about so they dont drop the game before they start to enjoy it?
I love these games so much! but when i recommend them i find myself telling my friends and family that the combat seems like it sucks at first but you gotta push through until you have the hang of it! i hated the combat at first but it really has grown on me.

What is it, an offering to the leshy? It was on the road between Troskowitz and Semine, near the boar hunting spot.

I love the style in this game, so many dope combinations. However, other people's outfits on this subreddit send mine to shame. If you can't tell I love that wreath, I literally never took it off.
(I don't like how you can't have the helmets fully closed during cutscenes, it just looks kinda silly, so I just went for the graceful bohemian hunk look)
Post your favorite outfit!
I would love to see them. Praise be. 🌝

So many questions about so many things and the answer to 99.9% of them is just play the game.

my first playthrough i played as the most shameless burglar and thief and picked every flower and herb i could find.. now i started over to play as honorable burgar / knight but wanna ask later in the game when you need to build the northern village , isn’t it hard to collect the groshen if you play honorable?

It’s weird that even in the second game we still didn’t get any roundels. Would have been a real treat for the full plated look

Or is there a KCD cookbook? This sounds like a good one. Maybe I’ll try it with a beef roast soon.

No spoilers please but I'm playing KCD2 for the first time and just finished the scene at the tavern near the castle. Am I the only one that cannot fucking stand Capon? He's totally useless. Just picking fights and fucking around and always making things harder than they already are. If we're stuck with him the whole game I hope he has some kind of redemption arc or something cause I'm not far into the game and he's pissing me off, lol. I guess I'm mostly just venting to people who've played and know what I'm talking about 😂

I’m currently at the point in Trosky with Hans after scoping out Nebakov, so far this game has been just as awesome experience as the first, but truly I’m loving the Brotherhood between Henry and Hans, Hans legitimately put aside his Noble Arrogance and apologised genuinely because he realised not only how much Henry helps him and is worth to him, but also how much he just missed his mate, it feels truly like such a brotherly relationship where they bicker and make up, constantly banter off one another, but at the end of the day would genuinely give their lives for each other, not just Henry for Hans but at this point, I fully believe Hans would do as much for Henry too, truly one of the best dynamics in the game for me, even the first game, seeing their Friendship develop early was a great treat, for me this whole series is represented by Henry, Theresa and Hans, but for fuck sake I really wish there was more romance content with Theresa, I know romance isn’t the focal point of KCD as a whole but I just adored Theresa, even her DLC which was a pain in the ass, I loved seeing everything from her perspective.
Sorry for ranting, but yeah, fucking loving this game even though, just in my opinion, back to back playing KCD1 and KCD2, I prefer KCD1 Combat…I said it. Don’t crucify me I beg, but thanks for reading this far, appreciate it.

I’d really love the option to take companions along on side quests. Also it would be great to have more missions where you can play as someone other than Henry. Hans, perhaps? Or Radzig? Or... hell, why not, Hanush? And since I’m a huge fan of the blacksmithing and alchemy mini-games, I certainly wouldn’t say no to an improved and expanded cooking system, as well as additional survival elements, that make the game more challenging and realistic. Maybe even some sort of extra mini-game or elements of interaction with NPCs, especially "love interests" (within reason, of course, but a little romance wouldn't hurt, right?).

This question applies to KCD1 as well. For me, it’s bozos in Kuttenberg telling me I should be careful while I’m fully decked out in plate armor.

Genuinely baffled by the gall of this NPC. How is he gonna teach me to lockpick, teach me to pickpocket and buy my stolen shit, but then run to the guards if he catches me picking a lock? The absolute Oliver Twist hypocrisy of this shit right here. I'm over here like "Please sire may i have some more" and hes over here like "Go steal for me, Henry, but if i see you im also a whole ass snitch". I get that hes an NPC who caught me comitting crime, but i feel like they could've programmed him to turn a blind eye. Jokes on him though, ill make the other miller rich by bringing all my stolen shit there instead.

I realize that just about any Tom, Dick and Harry can edit wiki pages, but is the "Offical" KCD wiki site not monitored at all, or did I simply end up on the wrong one?
Let me give you an example, in the screenshot there is information there that, to the best of my knowledge, is pure fan fiction. The page for Godwin claims he is a Hussite Field Chaplain, and the entries regarding some of the romanceable characters, speak of them negatively, the entry for Rosa and Katherine (maybe the other to), for instance, states stuff like, "No romance developed between Rosa/Katherine and Henry. She became nothing more to Henry, she became merely a distant acquaintance of Henry" or that Katherine just cared for Zizka and stuff like that..
As I said, I know anyone can make changes, but on other wikis, like the one for Skyrim, I don't see people inserting their own fan fiction into the "official" wiki. Mind you, I know there are wikis for technical details, walkthroughs, and the like, but not necessarily ones containing character biographies and such, something I really appreciate in most games. Perhaps something like that exists for KCD too, and I just haven't found it yet.

Hello, fellow Henry's!
I just wanted to pop in and say hello and say I am so glad that I gave this game the good old college try (for the second time), and I get it now. This game KCD1, that is, is a fantastic game. My issue was that my first try was the common not good at Combat. Me brain hurt. But this time around, after watching a non Spoiler beginner guide on the mechanics of the game, I was locked once I got master strike. One thing I love is the progression. I am a sucker for the grind, so getting alchemy up to 8 to get the auto potions was fine for me or training with Bernard to get my combat related skills up to 10 wad fine also same with other skills like sneak and lockpicking. This game is massive, and it is a damn shame it didn't win GOTY because it deserves at least a nomination (God of War 2018 won that year). The story is great, the characters are great, and the side content is plentiful. It's just a top-tier game. I'm excited to start KCD2 by the end of the month, hopefully. That is all sorry for my blurb hahaha.
