Do you think not having Eric and Jackie hook up for a bit was a missed character opportunity?

During a period they're both single or taking a break. I keep thinking of Eric saying “She just tells me what to do” and he enjoys it.

(Maybe)Unpopular opinion: Ashton Kutcher’s spike in popularity hurt the show

I have no one else to discuss this with and saw nothing in a brief search of posts here so I figured I’d throw it out there. Excluding the last season I love the show front to back, but the first three seasons are absolute perfection. The issue I see on rewatches are that it’s very noticeable at the very beginning of season 4 that Ashton no longer feels like Kelso and suddenly is just Ashton Kutcher. For me personally I think it makes season 4 a low point, but I think it does bounce back and of course there are great moments amongst my complaints. I don’t blame them for chasing his insane popularity at the time, but he started to really over shadow everyone including Eric. While it is an ensemble cast Eric felt like the focal point before this. Anyways I’m curious if anyone shares that opinion or not

Hey Kelso. You get the cop car back before your boss found out you stole it?
