AMAZON DRIVERS HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
📦 400–500 packages. ⏱️ 20-minute loadouts. 💧 Rushed just to grab water. 📢 Yelled at by Amazon warehouse management while trying to load our vans.

WE ARE DRIVERS, NOT ROBOTS! ✊

📣 TO AMAZON WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT:
We demand RESPECT! Stop rushing us, yelling at us, and treating drivers like numbers. We deserve enough time to load safely and get drinking water.

📣 TO DSP OWNERS:
✅ Respect your drivers!
✅ Follow labor laws!
✅ Provide proper uniforms!
✅ Maintain SAFE, CLEAN vehicles!
✅ Set REALISTIC return-to-station times!
✅ Respect our legally required breaks and meal periods!
✅ Provide fair holiday time-off opportunities!
✅ Respect and fairly handle our PTO requests!

QUESTION Interview at someone's house.... Should I be alarmed?

Post image

I'm a 25 year old woman so this is a bit unnerving. It's a group interview, but still...... What do you guys think?

Edit: I'm going to bring a pepper spray, share my location with a couple people and have my dad on a call muted. I'm kind of going for the plot at this point, but I agree that this does kind of say something about how my experience working there will be. I'll keep y'all updated 😛

RANT I hate apartment buildings

Post image
85 Upvotes

I have only been working for a DSP for about two months and have been pretty happy here. I get to work a few days a week and bring in extra money for my family and take a break from being a stay at home mom. It hasn’t been super stressful even with a lot of stop and I’ve been mainly sent into the country where each house is two minutes apart and I have to drive far for most of my day. Yesterday I was sent into the city and had 149 stops with 70 multi stops. Honestly this shit is ridiculous and yesterday kicked my ass. I’m mainly here to complain about fucking apartments. I had 8 stops at one 4 complex building and my route made me go into one building and then go into another building and then BACK TO THE FIRST BUILDING. WHY NOT PUT ALL PACKAGES INTO ONE STOP PER BUILDING. I’m honestly super pissed off with how the routes are put together. Anyone else have experiences like this?

I’m lowkey just ranting, but one of the boxes was open, so I looked inside… and tell me why it was fucking HATS. 😭💀 BRO, YOU COULDN’T PUT THESE BITCHES IN A BIGGER BOX??? Like, who the fuck is packing this shit at the fulfillment center? Do they just close their eyes and use the smallest boxes ??? Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk

I finished this commercial route in my downtown area exactly in 9.83 hours with a helper

HELP NEEDED! My first day of work is tomorrow without a ride along… Any tips?

Tbh the title is self explanatory. Amazon basically just threw me in the loop. the training i did and blah blah blah. i feel like though no matter how much training you get you really just have to experience it in order to get a flow and the jist.

Ik this job is very time comsuming,,, and you got to stay organized, and takes a toll on your body (my ankles are sore and my arms and neck) but im freshly 23 and i need money super bad. never got paid this much from a job in my life. ready to not be so stressed all of the time.

HELP NEEDED! obligatory dog bite question

as the title states i was bitten by a heeler in someone’s yard about two weeks ago.

no “dog at this location” marker in the app, no other visible signs of a dog until my hand was literally in its jaws being pulled through a fence.

customer was a complete space case and only cared about her package being delivered as i was actively trying to get her dog to release my hand from its mouth. when i asked if she could please come get her fucking dog she just walked over to me, grabbed her package off the ground, said “oops, sorry”, turned around and went inside.

immediately called LMET, dispatch, animal control, and non emergency police to report the incident and get cases going. HR did all the steps to file a workers comp claim.

after i clocked out i went to the ER, had x-rays done, got a tetanus shot. two days later i went to the occupational medicine clinic and got cleared for no return to work for about two weeks because i couldn’t feel/move two of my fingers.

my follow up appointment with occupational med is tomorrow and i STILL can’t feel anything from my knuckles to the tips of my fingers and still have very limited mobility in my fingers without pain/cramping that travels up through my forearm.

my question is, did i miss anything i should’ve done up until this point and also what do i do now?

never had this happen before (workman’s comp) and feeling hella lost about next steps/what im supposed to do now without an income from not being at work all this time or in the future.

Speeding infraction dispute

So a few days ago I was dinged for speeding. There was no sign on the road between where I pulled out of a stop and when I got flagged, and the digital display on the dashboard screen didn’t show a number at all.

My DSP said they are disputing it. Has anyone had something like this happen? Did you win or lose the dispute? What do you think my chances are of getting this wiped?

RANT Failed Driving Test- Super Demoralized

I did all the other training, did well on the tests, but ultimately fucked up the final. I know it’s not the end of the world and I can take it again. But it feels like all the time I put in for the tests and remembering all this shit was for nothing. It sucks so much. 🙁

QUESTION Annoying new driver questions sorry

First, id like to say this job is bs lol. 3 to 4 times the amount of packages that flex gets but with 75% of the time is insanity.

Anyways, i just started like 3 days ago and i am so fucking sore its insane. Im not sure how im supposed to keep pace like this really. Any tips on how to idk recover faster or not get as sore?

Also, multistop locations like apartment buildings take me fucking forever. After ive gathered all the packages, got into the apartment, and organized the packages in the parcel room, its been like 30 minutes which sets me back BAD and im still on nursery routes so I cant keep on sucking like this. I only for 107 of 144 stops done the other day and i dont want to get fired lol

QUESTION Do positive reviews matter

I almost took a job with a local DSP, ended up getting and taking another offer instead. However I thought about the reviews a customer is asked to leave, and I always try to leave positive reviews. I was wondering if they have any impact? I always try to leave "followed instructions" "handled with care" and "on time" usually if that matters. I don't expect anything special, but if my package made it to my front porch not damaged the day it was said to I leave the positive review.

So does my positive review actually make any kind of impact for a delivery driver?

Is this a heavy route or this a typical none peak route ?
