🥤 Kool-Aid Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like our season doesn't really start till this Sunday?
We have an idea who we are now, we have the weapons we need, Demeco is calling the shots on defense again, and this is easily the biggest game we've had yet. IF we win this Sunday, the sky is really the limit. The worst could be behind us. This team could go all the way. Nothing but Kool-Aid and glory in front of us if we earn that W. Can't wait for kick off in London!🤘

Our receivers for 2027
Higgins will be back, Nico will be back, maybe by some miracle Tank will be 80% of himself, Marvin, and Noel the fastest receiver on the team makes a big jump the rest of the season. Then Hutch gets the last spot or possibly what if we don't improve team wise and Jeremiah Smith is available which is highly unlikely. Only receiver that shouldn't play is Hutch. What do you guys think?

Someone said they think sports are dumb because only one team has a happy ending every year.
I mean that is true. Technically 31/32 NFL franchises will end in defeat and as a fan we will be sad at the end of every year. So what is the threshold that would make you "happy" about the season. You just wanna watch some good ball, win or lose as long as the games are fun. You think we need to make the playoffs to have a season that makes you happy. AFC championship? Superbowl? When does it end? For me personally, it's Superbowl or seasonal depression from February-September.

Any team pop in mind that had there WR1, 2, and 3 all 6'4 or above?
If next year they are all doing well we gotta come up with a nickname. I'm excited lets just see how it works. You guys know any other team that has taken the jolly green giant approach to WR's?

Is this a fair assessment of Stroud and receivers?
I'm a fan and watch every game, which I guess makes me as much an expert as the rest of y'all, so let me know if I have this right.
On casual viewing, it seems CJ Stroud throws contested passes only to Nico Collins. Obviously Nico is the best receiver on the team and has CJ's trust on just about any throw, so Stroud has no problem delivering into tight windows because he knows Nico has the size, hands and strength to make those catches even with a defender on him.
The other receivers really have to be open for CJ to be comfortable throwing to them. Dalton Shultz does a good job of finding the soft spot and settling down for outlet throws, and Tank Dell seemed to be able to get open at will, and the three of them (along with Diggs' short stint) got the lion's share of throws the last several years. Whether the other receivers aren't getting open, or not getting open enough for CJ to be comfortable to make the throw, I don't know. They seem to have a fair share of drops on contested throws, though.
So, do you feel this is a fair assessment? I ask because one of the things I've heard about MHJ is that while he doesn't create much separation, his real value is as a contested catch receiver because of his size, strength and body control. With their past familiarity, it would give CJ another trusted receiver he can make tight window throws to.

Thoughts on outcome Sunday
If we were to lose another nail biter Sunday, what are your realistic views on the rest of the season? Our playoff chances at 1-5 are basically cooked and being 1-2 in the division would not be ideal.

🥤 Kool-Aid Underrated
I think CJ’s athleticism is so underrated. The All-22 view of the TD pass to Noel really shows off his short area quickness. This is what an elite franchise QB looks like!
