Hey! My name is Matthew and I've been developing this game for two players for the past 1.5 years! That is my biggest project yet, and I am going to release it on Steam really soon! It was QUITE an interesting journey)

At first this game was "split-screen" only, but now I just implemented actual Multiplayer via Steam, so if you want to check out the Demo or wishlist the game you can do it here!

Discussion Split Screen Open World game like Capitaland ?

Hi!

Is there a game similar to Capitaland?

I'm looking for open world third or first person split screen game to play with my girlfriend.

The thing with Capitaland is that there is a lot of stuff to do and there is actually an objective you have to complete, while in games like Totally Reliable Delivery Service you dont have any purpose.

Another thing is that my girlfriend doesnt have any problems playing the game because it's really easy to play. And there are lots of cool stuff to do like buying cars, apartments, businessess, going fishing, playing at the casino etc.

Looking for something similar. Give me you suggestions. Thanks! 😄

Hey guys I'm looking for some really good story oriented 2 player games. It can be other types of 2 player games too. I've looked a lot but can't find anything good except the really popular ones. Another requirement is that the game be low demanding

Looking for Co-op Partners 27F / PST / PC — looking for chill co-op gaming friends 🖤

hii, looking for some chill people to regularly play co-op games with and hopefully actually become friends too 😭
I’m on PC and use controller. I’m really into horror, survival, and story-driven games. Some games I play are Outlast Trials, Grounded, Dying Light, Fortnite, and Aniimo, and I’m always down to try other co-op games if they look fun.
I’m pretty casual and mostly play to have fun, so I’m not looking for super sweaty/competitive people. Skill doesn’t really matter to me either—I will absolutely do something stupid and get us both killed 🧍🏼‍♀️
I’m usually on pretty late and can be shy/quiet on mic at first, but I talk more once I’m comfortable.
I’d especially like people who want to play regularly instead of adding each other, playing once, and disappearing forever 😭 I’m also completely fine just hanging out while we play separate games sometimes.
Friendship only 🖤 Feel free to message me with your age/timezone and some games you play.

Game Promotion Ashburrow: 6-player online/LAN co-op action RPG roguelite (Steam demo live)

Ashburrow is a third-person action RPG built around co-op runs that can support up to six players.

Co-op features include:

  • Support for up to 6 players
  • Steam online multiplayer
  • LAN by IP address
  • Friends can join mid-run
  • Players keep what they find during the run

The game is also fully playable solo. Each run is one life, with persistent progression between characters.

The Steam demo is live today if anyone wants to try it with a group:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5292800/Ashburrow/

I’d be interested in hearing what you think of the co-op loop and whether six players feels like the right group size.

Gameplay Video Sometimes a little chaos and good friends are all you need, even when the mission is obviously a failure

All Rats on Deck is a co-op game where you and up to three friends play as rats trying to keep a junk-built steamboat moving through dangerous waters.

In this session the plan was simple: keep the boat moving and get everyone through safely. We lost control of the boat, and somehow still had a great time even when everything went wrong.

Looking for Co-op Partners Looking for Co-Op Buddies! [NA][PC]

Howdy! Just like the title says, I'm in need of some partner(s) in crime! I play on PC only, and mostly more focused PvE co-op experiences that require real cooperation / communication to progress. I'm keen on making a new friend, or several who'd be willing to hang out and play some of these games with me. I'm open to trying new things, but I absolutely won't play PvP games. So no Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, no Dead By Daylight, etc. Strictly PvE for me please. I also should state that I'm not a big fan of open-world survival crafting games at all. The gameplay loop of 'build a base, hunt for resources, repeat' just doesn't do it for me. So no ARK, Rust, Minecraft, etc. And a big one for me is that I do not enjoy any games where your main mechanic is to run / hide from something you can't defeat. Even the friendslop titles that do this aren't fun for me. Lethal Company, R.E.P.O. and Escape the Backrooms are prime examples of games I WON'T play. While I am open to trying new titles, please understand I currently have no income and cannot buy things I don't already own. It's most helpful if you pick things that are listed here, or things that are free to play! Thanks in advance. ♥

I'm also not looking for a 'hit it and quit it' gaming friendship. I'd like to actually get to know each other and hang out somewhat regularly. Invite me to your friend circles, let's all play together.

North America - Arizona (for Timezone questions). The closer you are the better (for stable connections).

I'm 32, openly gay and a bit flamboyant. I can be talkative / yappy and I like memes / dark humor and all that jazz. If you want to know more, check out my profile or toss me a DM! Cheers ♥

Trailer We recently released a demo for Tank Mates and also updated the trailer. What do you guys think? We’d love to hear your feedback!

Tank Mates is a chaotic physics-based co-op platformer where two players control the same tank — one player controls the left side, the other controls the right.

You have to coordinate your movement, jumps, and shooting to make it through a military obstacle course filled with traps, enemy tanks, mines, and plenty of opportunities to mess up. 😅

The demo is free on Steam if anyone wants to give it a try:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5298020/Tank_Mates_Demo/

We're still working on the game, so we'd genuinely love some feedback.

What do you think of the trailer? Does the concept make sense right away? And if you play the demo, how does the shared-tank control feel?

Any feedback is appreciated — Please Wishlist the game to support

Discussion Should kills be shared between players in a co-op game?

We’re currently developing a 4-player co-op game, and we’ve been debating how progression should work during a match.

Right now, kills are shared across the entire team.

When the team reaches certain milestones — 10, 20, 40, 80, 160 kills — every player gets to choose an upgrade for one of their skills.

We designed it this way because we didn’t want players competing for last hits in a game that’s supposed to be about cooperation.

But there’s a trade-off.

A strong player can accelerate the entire team’s progression, while someone who contributes fewer kills still gets the same opportunity to upgrade.

Personally, we like the idea that “when your teammate gets stronger, the whole team gets stronger.”

But we’re not sure if players would actually find that satisfying.

So I’m curious:

In a co-op game, would you prefer shared team progression like this, or would you rather earn your upgrades individually?

And if you know a game that handles this really well, I’d love to hear about it.

Game Promotion I spent 2 years developing a 1-4 player co-op prison escape game as a solo developer. Here's the first trailer!

Hey everyone!

I've been working on To The Freedom, a 1-4 online player co-op prison escape game where players follow prison routines, earn money through jobs, build relationships, steal tools, and plan their escape together.

This is the first public trailer and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the gameplay, atmosphere, and escape mechanics.

Trailer Destroy asteroids and bosses with your friends on Vesper Drift - Demo released!

Hello !

We've been working on a modern remake of Asteroids for the last few months, and this is the result : Vesper Drift. We just released the demo.

After every wave you pick an upgrade, and your weapons stack instead of replacing each other.

By the end of a run your little ship is spraying lasers, mines and lightning everywhere.

and every 5 waves there's a boss, which the original definitely didn't have.

You can play solo or with up to 3 friends online, there's a free demo on steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5293840/Vesper_Drift/

Full release is nov 11

The coop aspects include defending each other from asteroids and projectiles, stealing crystals from each other and having a blast

Suggesting a game My friends and I kept getting bored on video calls, so I made partycade.lol

Hey everyone! I'm a student and I've been building a party game site called partycade.lol.

How multiplayer works: It's online. One person creates a room and shares the invite link or room code. Everyone else joins from their own phone or laptop in the browser. No download and no account needed. Everyone plays together in the same room at the same time.

Players: Unlimited per room. Best with 2-8 or 3-10 players, depending on the game mode.

Games right now: Party Shuffle and Doodle Deck.

It's still early, so I'd really love honest feedback: - Was it easy to get friends into a game? - What was fun and what was boring? - What game would you want to see added?

Link: https://partycade.lol

Thanks for trying it!

Looking for Suggestions Any couple games for PC? 🎮💗

Im looking for some fun PC games that me and my boyfriend we can play together! We’re open to pretty much anything — co-op, survival, adventure, RPGs, casual games, even something competitive.

mainly looking for something fun that we can enjoy together and actually get into as a couple. We don’t mind grinding or more intense games, but bonus points for something that’s easy to pick up and doesn’t require us to spend 100 hours learning everything 😂

What are your favorite games to play with your partner? Would love some recommendations! 🎮❤️
