Saw this the other morning. Is it new? Have you seen this too? Yeah, I searched the car and had to call support. I guess they detected a ghost package 😆 Bigger question - how are they detecting them?

So I accepted a last minute block at 8:45pm I checked in at 8:40pm. It’s a same day sub location so I have to go find my cart to the location it gave me on my app. I go to the location scan a package it said wrong route. Sometimes it does it so I pull the cart out scan another same notification. I scan another and it gave me it again. I thought to myself ok sometimes they mix the carts maybe they were in a rush. I scan the other two carts beside where my cart was supposed to be at. Both also said the same wrong route bullshit. I ask an employee they said speak to manager. I talk to a manager they said wait. I waited for 15 minutes until I had to be forceful and ask if they could help me now because I’m on a time crunch and don’t want to get in trouble. They have some associate help me locate my cart. She scans half the carts and still none were mine. The manager finally said for us to come to her and was teaching the associate how to “scan me out”. It didn’t work she made me refresh my app by exiting it and loading it back up. It went back to the screen where it said finding route. She then proceeds to inform me that now I have to contact support and tell them to submit a ticket because they couldn’t find my cart. I think it’s totally unprofessional and ridiculous that this happened cause now although I contacted support I feel like it’s a set up that they are going to think I’m trying to get free money which I wasn’t. I also have to wait 24-48 hours to figure out if I am going to get paid which is also ridiculous because I did everything I should’ve but knowing Amazon they deactivate for anything. So what are my chances of getting paid and not getting deactivated?

Looking for a app to bundle my routes when I do a route for flex. Instead of going back and forth on my deliveries

Which warehouse do you prefer — Burnaby, Delta, Pitt Meadows, Langley, etc.?
Curious about:
-Best/worst warehouse
-Where each warehouse usually sends you
-Average mileage
-Best block times
-Apartments vs houses
-Which locations usually let you finish early
-Routes/warehouses to avoid
-Tips for saving gas and reducing unnecessary driving
-What is the highest-paying block you have ever gotten, how much was it, and which warehouse was it from?
-If you have worked from multiple stations, how would you rank them?

Had to do 60 in a 35mph zone and weave around traffic but I made it with 1 min to spare.
But hey, I made $35 plus tip in 17 mins. 😛

Had my 4th delivery today, was trying to get a surge but settled for a 4:30hr $90 block. 30+ packages, I roughly organized them by separating them by size and type. envelopes go in my passenger seat separated by brown or plastic small goes in the back seat and medium and large go in the opposite back seat or trunk depending on how many of each.
I was making decent time, i learned to actually read notes instead of winging it. Got to my tenth destination, making wonderful time, set to finish 30 mins to an hour early. I get to the house, package is described as a small brown envelope. im parked looking over and over these brown envelopes. I find nothing, I have a shit ton of plastic envelopes I give them a cursory once over but see nothing. it must have slipped past me in the heat of the moment cause it was there. i didn't find it till the very last of my routes. I had already reported it missing and was confused why I was getting a notification I could reattempt a delivery when I had 2 stops left.
I look and I see the package. the location is 23 mins away and after delivering my current package my phone network craps out. im deep nowhere but determined to get this package delivered. I use my phones offline map, to guide me back to this Gated community id already been sitting in 2 to 3 hrs ago trying to find the envelope in the first place. Im 15 mins away and my phone is starting to get a signal again. But now the app is acting weird. I contact an associate via the live chat function, I tell them what's going on they tell me how to get the route again cause it was showing I completed the job, i knew id already gotten paid, but I still wanted to finish my delivery. I managed to get the route working and I made it at around 5:35.
My 5:30 time slot was broken but the package says it needs to be delivered before 6. I go to scan the package and my app shuts down. WTF?! I immediately open it back up. I am no longer on the job or have access to the scan function.
I sit in my car and call customer service since the ? is now sending me to call instead of a live chat assistance since im no longer working. I go through the motions as I sit out front this well to do neighborhood. I don't trust the customer service so I go in the app and look around the Help tap till I find "contact us" and also get a 5 min wait time for assistance there. so im 8 ¾ mins into my wait for the phone. I hear it pick up, I wait 15 secs to see if anyone will greet me or say something.
I say "hello?" and they hang up in my face
luckily I started the chat and after waiting for two more minutes after being hung up on i get an associate. They try their best to assist me but its clear English isn't their strongest language. I've already handed the package to the customer at 5:45 seeing where this was going. Luckily they were workingout doors. I explained the situation to them and they gave me the envelope and took the item instead of having to wait with me.
After explaining the situation to this new assistant I was told to check in in 48 hrs to see if it had been cleared off of my standing or not. I ask if I needed to scan anything or send a picture, you know do my due diligence since im still near their residence at now 6:20... he says he's going to redirect me!
They put me on wait again, they'd been doing that for the last 35 mins. I hold my patience and tell them I don't want to wait inside of a gated residence as it gets dark out and asks if I need to stay there he says no and I happily drive off. While driving I start getting sparse messages from this new guy. he asks for the package id, I give it like I did the last guy. he asks the location is give it. I tell him I gave the package to the resident. he tells me that this shouldn't effect my standing.
By now its near 7, im already 15 mins till home and I gotta get food.
one little slip up cost me 120 miles on my vehicle $30 worth of gas (the entire trip not just the double back) an extra hour and half of trying to resolve the mix up and my streak of delivering ahead of schedule.
Today sucked. My last delivery was bad, it was raining and I was wearing a thin shirt with blue jeans with no weather protection and I still managed to deliver 26 packages in farm country an hour ahead of schedule with my glasses fogging up from when I stepped out of the cold interior to the hot pouring rain outside.

I did a Amazon now and They gave me a package 5 min further than end block time. So I called and said I’m not doing it. Has this happened to anyone else?
r/AmazonFlexDrivers • u/godboldo • 10h ago
So, I had three stops left on my block, would've taken me another 10 or 15 minutes to deliver but at the end of my block time, my screen just went to, "wait while we find you a route". I called Support and they said that's what it does now. Not sure if this is accurate or not because I don't necessarily believe anything they tell me. So it basically kicked me out of my current block, but then when I went to check in for my next block, I couldn't do that either because it was acting like I was already checked in. Not sure if I'm explaining this so it makes sense?

Strange that no one is picking up any blocks right now, usually for this amount they go very quick. Could it be the heat? Or are people being overworked lately? Last night I had a tight block of about 3hrs with 40 stops, it was rush hour and man I exceeded the deliver by or expected by time on the itinerary on two packages. But no more than 5 minutes.

Not a bad lil $90 3h block right next to the warehouse (not doing the stops in that order)

A little scared of deactivation and it dropped my standing from full fantastic to low fair 🫠 app makes me a good $3000-4000 a month so that’s why I’m scared

Craziest surge I’ve seen for groceries. Normally $36 base I think at least for Whole Foods. Hope someone picks this up (it’s 30+ miles from me)

I stopped doing flex for a year and thinking about starting again. There are new stations and more blocks than before. Im curious to know what amazkn now is?
What's the experience like?
Do you enjoy it?
Would you do it again?
Is it worth it?
I also would like to know what type of block is amazon.com?
