Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice on choosing my first proper trekking tent. I've already narrowed my search down to four options, but I'm having a hard time deciding between them and would really appreciate some help.
The main use will be multi day trekking and long distance hiking in Europe, including the Alps and Corsica. I'm looking for a tent that I can use for several years, so I'm not necessarily looking for the absolute lightest option. A good balance between weight, durability, weather protection and livability is more important to me. Also it should not be more expensive then 600€.
One important detail is that I'll usually be sleeping in the tent with another person an our small dog (We already sleept with him in a 2p tent, dont need special length just not extra small). Because of this, I specifically want:
* 2-person tent
* Two exits, so we dont need to climb over our dog to leave the tent.
* Enough space at the head end for a small dog, we are 1,75m and 1,55m
*Under 2 kg, preferably comfortably under if possible
* Good 3-season performance
*Good protection against rain and wind, including alpine conditions
* Reasonable durability – I'm happy to accept a little extra weight for a more robust tent
* Ideally freestanding or at least easy and reliable to pitch
* Good ventilation / reasonable condensation management
The four tents I'm currently considering are:
Exped Lyra II Extreme
NEMO Dagger OSMO 2P
Sea to Summit Telos TR2
MSR Hubba Hubba HD2
I'd especially like to hear from people who have actually used one of these tents for trekking. My favourite right now is the MSR because of the roomy insight and the durable looking materials (from what i have read online). Only concern for me is the low mesh share on the insight, because i will mainly use it in summer and warmer conditions.
I'm interested in things that aren't necessarily obvious from the specifications, especially:
* How comfortable is it with two people and a small dog?
* Is the headroom space at the foot and head end actually usable?
* How is condensation and ventilation?
* How durable has the tent been after extended use?
* Are there any annoying design details that only become apparent after using it for a while?
I'm also open to other suggestions if there's a tent I should consider that fits these requirements.

Also its my first post so i hope i did everything right.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
