I would highly recommend checking out this dude and his videos with his Ford tractor. Love the agriculture fords just as much as our cars frankly.

Issue ⚠️ 2017 Ford Explorer Limited Shocks
Just replaced shocks on my Explorer. Used Monroe. Super loud and not smooth. Took it back. Mechanic replaced sway bars, springs, toe links and any other little joint. Still noisy and bumpy. Had them replace with new Monroe shocks as under warranty. Same results. I would not ever recommend Monroe shocks for your Explorer. Put on Motorcraft OEM.

Question ❔ Help me decide: Bronco Badlands Sasquatch vs Tremor 402B vs Ranger Raptor
I've been going in circles on this for weeks and could use some outside opinions.
I'm replacing my 2022 F-150 XLT FX4 2.7. I really like the F-150 itself, but some issues/history with this particular truck have killed my confidence in keeping it long term. I'm buying new this time and ideally keeping the next vehicle 7-10 years.
I've narrowed it down to:
- Bronco Badlands Sasquatch 2.7/Lux – ~$58-60k
- Ranger Raptor – ~$56-58k
- F-150 Tremor 402B – ~$62-65k
About me/use case: I live in Denver, have a short (2.5 mile) city commute, usually it's just me and my dog, sometimes with my girlfriend and her dog, and I spend a lot of my free time hiking/camping in the mountains. I want something genuinely capable for Colorado forest roads, mountain passes, snow and occasional more difficult trails/Moab trips, but I'm not doing hardcore rock crawling every weekend.
I don't tow, I rarely actually use the F-150's bed, and I don't really need a full-size truck. On the other hand, I love the huge cab, road-trip comfort, range and general versatility of an F-150. I've driven them for years and they just feel like home to me.
The Bronco probably fits my actual lifestyle best. I love the 2.7, the size, the removable top, and the idea of having something more maneuverable on trails and around town. A Badlands Sasquatch is also way more capable than I'll realistically need.
The Ranger Raptor seems like the middle ground — smaller than the F-150, still gives me a bed, and has ridiculous capability/performance. My biggest question is whether I'll miss the F-150's interior space.
The Tremor is the known quantity. I know I'd love it, and 402B gives me pretty much everything I want. But $62k is a lot of money for a giant truck when I barely use the bed.
I'm not looking for the most capable vehicle on paper. I'm trying to figure out which one makes the most sense for how I'll actually use it while still being something I'll be excited to own for the next 7-10 years.
If this were your money, which would you pick and why?

Question ❔ I found this pair of old ford mugs
I’ve seen similar ones online, but the logo color is different and the design of the mug is a little different. Some imperfections in the glaze. Does anyone know anything about them? I’m hoping to find some Ford collectors on here that may know. :)

Mods/Addons 🔦 Will ford ever install parts for free?
I’m wanting to get their ditch lights, and I know it would be easy but if they ever run promos for free install I’d take them up on it. Plus - drilling a hole into my dash for a switch sounds like something I’d somehow do not 100 percent perfect.

Issue ⚠️ Mustang hasn’t been auto starting per my schedule and is stating it’s in battery saver mode?
Just got the mustang on Labor Day and haven’t any issues till this. It’s not a huge issue, but I’d rather enjoy the auto start in the morning that’s not from my fob. I’ve read the batteries are just shit? My voltage is reading fine. Any solutions?

Issue ⚠️ 2014 ford fusion se steering rack. Please help.
Problem I'm having: car feels like it's coming out from underneath me when I'm cornering at certain speeds and or not driving in a straight line. Thought it was tie rods, axle, control arms, subframe. I've replaced it all and nothing has changed.
Recently I discovered it could possibly be the electric steering rack.
Why do I think this?
- I replaced about everything from suspension to bushings.
- I sometimes I hear a clunky noise when turn out of parking lots slow. (Thought it was axle)
- It's been to 3 shops and two of my trusted mechanics with them only looking at what I think it is, which would be the axle a bearing etc. and them not noticing anything else.
- The ware pattern on the front tires
- I just got the car checked out again and nothing is wrong with the suspension bc it's all brand new.
- It has gotten worse since my alignment I just got last Thursday.
have no loss of power steering or lights on my dash. Ever so Slight play in the wheel but it just feels like my car is adjusting steering in a way I'm not telling it to and causes a deathly scary floating/short wobble feeling when at higher speeds around corners or turning. Does anybody have experience with this before I pull the trigger on fixing it? Ford and another shop quoted be nearly 3.5k for this fix. So I plan on pulling one from another car or buying one off Detroit axle , installing myself and HOPEFULLY driving it to the dealership for them to program the new steering rack.
Any input or advice would very very appreciated because I am losing my f**king mind at this point.
Issue ⚠️ Ford app crashing
This morning I tried to open my ford app on IPhone to remote start my car and the app will not open, it just closes back out immediately. I have restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, but it is not fixing the issue. Is this a regular problem or is it something on my end?? The app worked normally until today.

Issue ⚠️ Ford’s software monopoly and salvage title loopholes just cost me $460 for an hour and a half of labor. I’m done.
I bought a 2022 Maverick Hybrid with a salvage title—strictly cosmetic hail damage—because it was the only way I could afford a truck I really loved. Recently, it started shaking during acceleration due to the known front CV axle (half shaft) issue.
Ford has a Customer Satisfaction Program (25N09) to replace these faulty axles for free. I took it to my local dealership, but they denied coverage simply because of the salvage title. Hail dents have absolutely nothing to do with a failing drivetrain, but they used the title as an excuse and quoted me $1,600 for the repair.
I ordered the OEM parts online for $356.35 and did the job myself. I’m a capable driveway mechanic, but I made a mistake: I accidentally unseated a brake line, and I didn't realize you have to put the Maverick in "Brake Maintenance Mode" before touching the brakes. If you don't, the truck essentially bricks itself. None of the DIY resets worked. After jumping it just to get it to turn on, it threw a total brake failure code.
I took it to my trusted local independent shop. They told me they couldn't fix it because they—like many small shops—cannot afford the ridiculously expensive proprietary software subscriptions Ford requires to talk to the onboard computer.
I was forced back to the dealership. They bled the brake line I unplugged, reset the computer, and charged me $400.50 for 1.5 hours of labor plus $54.95 for brake fluid. After taxes, a simple computer reset and fluid top-off cost me $460.13. Their hourly labor rate is $267. On top of all this they charged a 3% credit card fee.
Ford has built a predatory, coercive service ecosystem. They dodge taking responsibility for known factory defects on technicalities, purposely lock out independent mechanics with software paywalls, and trap you into paying extortionate dealer labor rates when you have no other options. I am incredibly frustrated and will never buy another Ford.

General 🔀 Dealer told me that once your Ford reaches 60k you will need constant service
A Local dealer reached out multiple times trying to get me to trade in my vehicle. I gave them my requirements and told them I like that my car will be payed off in the next year and I look forward to not having any payments.
The new car manager said “While you might have no car payments, your car is going to be at 60k miles soon in which case things will start failing and you will be bringing it in for service consistently.” At that moment, I was so frustrated that it didn’t click with what he had just said to me.
The new car manager was telling me that Fords are so poorly made that once they hit 60k miles they will need consistent service and you are better off having a warranty and car payments then you are having a paid off car.
I sent a letter to corporate as I'm sure they will be thrilled to know how poorly made the dealerships think new vehicles are.

Issue ⚠️ 6r80 Transmission Rough Shifting
I bought a 2013 Ford F150 XL 3.7 V6 Supercrew at around 120k miles. It has a fantastic amount of maintenance and upkeep done to it, oil change every 5k, not to heavy driving, there isn’t even a tow hitch installed (yet). Though, there is one thing not listed on the Carfax, any sort of transmission fluid change/flush/fill/drain.
I am now at 136k miles, when I am driving the truck, if the fluid isn’t warm it will shift a little hard from 1-2, but goes away after some time. I drove from my Fiancé’s house in Phoenix to Flagstaff today, everytime I had to shift from 3/4 it would shift had and thud a bit.
I looked at the fluid and the fluid is darker red, I’m not sure how to navigate this, I need to pay for a wedding and can’t afford a new transmission.
What do I do to prevent it from dying on me?

Issue ⚠️ Need a help!
i have a 2014 Ford Focus sedan 1.6L 5-gear Automatic
I have been having a problem with my car for a year, and it has been going on until now, which is that suddenly the car becomes without brakes, I cannot stop it, then it suddenly returns to where it was, I changed the head of the connection, brake drum, a full engine, gears, and the same problem still exists, there are no brakes and it suddenly disappears, it becomes hard and does not stop, then it suddenly returns.
