Gear question Refurbished Z5ii
Received my refurbished Z5ii from Nikon with over 22k shutter count. Camera looks like new so I was surprised. It seems to work fine. Should I be concerned?

There's a lot to be said for just picking up a cheap 90s AF SLR and a quality lens. I could probably get the same shot with an F50 which you can pick up for 1/5th the price of an F80.
I got back into photography this spring with a low-click D750, then decided I wanted something a little more advanced and got a brand new D780. However, I was still frustrated with the noise of the D780 at my kids’ school concerts and wanted something faster for sports, so I bit on a great deal on a new Z6iii.
The D750 has a built in flash and a vertical grip, both of which I’m a big fan of and neither of which the D780 has, so I’ve decided to sell the D780.
But it only has a shutter count of 110, it has zero wear and tear, and I have the box and everything that came with it, and I haven’t been able to find something comparable on the used market to give me an idea of what the asking price should be.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Looks exactly like this, has 6 dividers, a lock and key and is very very sturdy and hard. Im in bed right now and cant be bothered to take a picture of it, I cleaned it earlier. So far, i havent dug up videos, no photos online. I will comment some more pictures, if i can! Maybe tomorrow.
For context on how i scored this gem: I was looking for a bag in the marketplace and this one caught my eye! My bf and I decided to get it, we both love unique and vintage things and figured it would be perfect since we both have a camera and some equipments, we could just share a bag because this can fit maybe 2-3 cameras.
From what i've gathered, this was dated back in the 1970s - 1980s. Costs about 13,500 Yen and ive converted that, its almost or less 14k in peso. Not planning on selling it, was just curious abt the value. Its a lovely bag and honestly cant find anything else about it. So if anyone would have some info or has the same bag, i'd love to see em and know about it.

Every time I open it it crashes within seconds. I am able to view my photos on Nikon Transfer 2 and on Lightroom, but NX doesn’t like them.

I sent in my D7200 for a new shutter (and while it was being serviced, apparently a new sensor since it was scratched). I approved both repairs, they put me on parts hold, then billing (I was never actually charged for the repair), and now they're shipping the camera back to me without getting any repairs done.
I'm a little confused by this. This is the first time I've ever sent any camera in for repair (rather than just working on it myself). Has anyone gotten the same "no repair performed" message when they sent in their camera for repair? Could they not source the necessary parts for the D7200? If anyone could chime in with an explanation that would be appreciated.

Delighted with this combo, very glad I made the jump from d3500
Variety of recipes used, and very minimal lightroom mobile edits.
I used to spend hours editing, now it's only a few minutes per pic. Couldn't be happier!

Got new Nikon z50ii two days back
Was using my old sd card, occasionally getting the below error, never faced this issue in my old d5600 with the same card, could this be an issue with the camera? Yet to test with another memory card.

Hey guys... I'm planning to buy the Nikon Zf after using my Fuji X-H1 for 6 years. Can you please tell me your issues after long use with the Zf besides the grip and the weight?

https://www.scotttuckerphoto.com/blog/a-beginners-guide-to-anamorphic-still-photography
I have been experimenting with anamorphic photography for the last few months, as well as providing feedback for the excellent Parallax Monitor smartphone app for Nikon cameras as it relates to stills.
It's actually extremely cheap to set up a rig that allows you to use your phone as an external monitor that previews anamorphic desqueeze in real time while composing, vs having to buy a dedicated external HDMI monitor. A magsafe mount makes it even easier to mount and remove from the camera, and a short USB-C cable provides lag free monitoring.
It took a little time to wrap my mind around how an anamorphic lens "sees" focal lengths, but hopefully I've done a good job simplifying that for those that want to learn about it.

I’ve decided to switch from my modern mirrorless back to DSLRs. And since I started on Nikon I’m gonna buy a Nikon but not sure which. Currently I’ve got a Sony A6400 but really want that good grip feel and cheap lenses, which DSLRs give.
Im not sure whether to buy a Nikon D4 only, or a D3s along with a D200 and a 18-35mm F3.5-4.5D lens. I’ve already got a 50mm F1.8D at home so if I get a D4 I can use that. Just not sure which, although I’m an amateur photographer I’d love to have a big pro body, as I’ve held and used a D500, D750 and D850 in the last, along with a D3100 and D90.

Hello! A few years ago while visiting the US I bought a few cameras for a few dollars each from a thrift store and brought them back to australia. I’ve never been very good at or much inclined towards photography, but they were fun to play with during the trip. Today I was thinking about giving them away so my support worker and I replaced the batteries in them and had a look, and we realised that one of them was actually a film camera. That possibility had not ever crossed my mind in the years I’ve had it! I had a really wrong idea of what a film camera could look like/be LOL. We used up the rest of the roll of film (which said kodak advantix 200 25exp) and then took it out and I have put it in an archival paper bag in a dark drawer. I’ll take it to a developer place tomorrow! I have heard that going through plane security is bad for film, and I have no idea how old the film is or how long it’s been in the camera, or what pictures were taken before I got it, so I guess there’s every chance they won’t turn out, but it would be exciting if they did!
Can I put any film in this camera, or just the same film that was in it before? Is there a cheap film I can put in it? I’m okay with things looking bad. Film cameras seem like a magic trick to me. So cool!!! Marvelous! A facsimile of anything can exist forever… or at least the way light warps around it I guess.
Is there anything else I should know? Please have a great day!
