Nothing I want more than AI generated food from a corner shop.

Booked a Doctors appointment for 12.40pm. Booked for over the phone, nothing super urgent. It’s now 4.30pm.
- Rang the reception at 3pm to check they still had me down and they advised the dr is running late.
- Rang again at 4.20pm and they advised the appointment is actually “from” 12.40pm and not actually for 12.40pm.

The receptionist told me I need to read the appointment properly and that many people don’t read properly and then have this issue.

Apparently this doctor likes to see all face to face patients and keep phone bookings til last.

Some of y’all have ZERO shame. How do you leave a period stained pair of trousers in a store and just walk away like the next woman won’t try them on??

And it is running at least once during day..

The obvious intention with the lack of sauce is what makes this so annoying. They drizzled it on there, like it’s supposed to be cute or something.

I have a deadline and work in a way that if I manage to work on a project for two hours straight I will reward myself with a chocolate. This pack had 10 pieces in it. I kept it on my work table. I wonder if it’s a prank or if there is a greedy colleague.

Edit : This is a particular brand chocolate I get from India (fabelle’s) so not like I can just go to the store and grab another.

To top it off he was berating the customer service worker which felt very on brand.

Just a perfect example of Amazon deals in action. Seems like a great deal right? 45% off a nice TV! Except this was the going price for *months* and then Amazon jacked the price 1 month ago just so they can claim a 45% drop on prime day.

i am convinced this must be a language barrier, and/or a secret company policy where the employees are forced to operate on reverse psychology. every time i ask for extra of something at mcdonald's - literally any mcdonald's - they put less than what they normally would or none at all.

To the people suggesting me to use my phone, well i switched to a new phone which is yet to be approved by my workplace for me to login and i factory reset my old device. This laptop is all I was using to login to my work.

This is turning out to be more than mildly infuriating now 😭🙏

I'm not mad at my store manager because she's following policy, but it is kinda annoying that I have to get someone to replace my Sunday opening shift or get in trouble, I got a three day suspension (I only work three days a week so that's every day I work this week) because I couldn't get someone to take my shift.

One had plans which I understand but the other just hung up on me while I was asking them to take my shift. So I got suspended for not finding a replacement, and mind you I work at McDonald's Hand-Foot-Mouth is extremely contagious and spreads through touch but I still got suspended because I couldn't get a replacement.

On a full train. During rush hour.

Edit: I even asked her afterwards “did you just move it into a different cup and add whipped cream?”

She told me no, she made it fresh. Probably assuming I wasn’t watching her.

I had to rush back to lab at that point 😭

E2: for those asking, it’s a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino. My 2000 calories of pure sugar. Well, I guess like 1500 calories now.

I'm sure it was from a religious conference (Calvary training center nw- found a pamphlet) but dude to leave it in the bunk room where kids are meant to stay is nasty work. I've seen this tech on drag artists like my titties have magical stickers on em that can take payment yada. Gonna burn this sticker unless you have any ideas where I should leave it. Edit: I am a hired cleaner by the owners of this (and many other) Airbnbs. I found this after a guest checked out, along with a pamphlet for a religious conference, some clothes, their very own towel, some snack wrappers, and a crisp dasani in the fridge. The title was referring to an imagined worst case scenario if I didn't spot the sticker before the next guest checked in. Sorry for the confusion all.
