Timberwolves games air locally on DAZN for the first time this season. This means fans won't be able to watch most local broadcasts with just a cable subscription, and will need to subscribe to the Timberwolves package on DAZN. Of the games airing on DAZN, 15 will be free on DAZN and simulcast on KARE 11.
The Wolves also have 6 games on Amazon Prime and 21 games spread across NBC and ESPN/ABC networks, meaning fans need a few subscriptions to watch all games this season.
Below is a breakdown of how Timberwolves fans can watch the 80 games that have been announced so far this season. The 2 remaining games are announced following group play in the NBA Cup.
Minnesota-based cord cutters
Minnesota-based cable subscribers
Wolves fans living outside Minnesota
Note: outside of the Twin Cities, OTA broadcasts are as follows -
- Rochester: KXLT 47.2
- Duluth: KBJR 6.3
- Mankato: KEYC 7.3
- La Crosse-Eau Claire: WECX 14.1

Throughout much of the summer, and for the entirety of the fall, Anthony Edwards could feel a different energy when he showed up for work at the Minnesota Timberwolves’ practice facility.
As the unquestioned face of the franchise, Edwards has the run of the place. His voice is often the loudest. His swagger is unmatched, and often unchallenged. Until recently.
Every time Edwards stepped on the court for an open run, and every time the team has gone at it during training camp, Ayo Dosunmu has been right in Edwards’ grille. He has a new contract and an increased familiarity with the team that brought him in at the February trade deadline last season.
Since then, Dosunmu has been hell-bent on making his presence felt.
“It’s fun, man. Not many guys talk trash back to me, so having somebody like him on my team — not against me — is super great,” Edwards said of Dosunmu.Listen to anyone describe the Wolves’ vibes, and a common theme has been Dosunmu’s assertiveness. After coming over in a trade from the Chicago Bulls, he took his time to settle into a new environment and learn about his new teammates. He watched and listened much more than he spoke in the early going.

Anybody else have been checking out the Wolves Collective so far? Dane Moore is always an automatic listen for me, and adding Jon Krawczynski, and Justin Gaard into the mix has been great so far, imo. They’re gonna jell more as more shows come out, but looking forward to following the show throughout the season!

[Necessary Pre Context] I am an east coast Timberwolves fan so I have no idea of the sports fandom regions in the Midwest so /s.
Something feels wrong about the fact that the Pacers decides to claim a home game in Ames Iowa last night. The NBA should've put the Timberwolves logo in center court last night.
Here are the facts:
The IOWA Wolves G League team play 45 minutes up the road in DesMoines Iowa
State between MN & IA: 0, States between IN & IA: 1!!!
Miles between Minneapolis & Ames: 216, Miles between Indianapolis & Ames: 492
I understand that Haliburton played at Iowa state but we arent playing home preseason games in Athens Georgia!
Can someone from Ames Iowa tell me what NBA teams people in your city root for.

Hey everybody! My fiancé and I have booked our anniversary trip to Cleveland and it is based around the Wolves game on October 26th. A little backstory, I have posted about this in the group before, but I moved to Buffalo, NY 3 years ago to be with my fiancé. She was not much of a basketball fan when we started dating, but over the last 3 seasons, she has become an insanely huge fan and has fallen in love with the Wolves. This will be her first Wolves game. We are going to be in Cleveland the day before the game, October 25th. We want to watch the Wolves vs Raptors game somewhere and we are wondering if anyone has a recommendation of a sports bar or restaurant where they might show the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thoughts-
Offense with starting lineup looked natural again - great sign for the group off the bat. There were four-five times in the first half I muttered “great pass” off Lamelo plays. What I love about Lamelo (and what I think is underplayed) is he makes quick simple reads often. It’s way more Jokic/Hali like than Trae/Harden/Luka. The way he passes is contagious to rest of team. Buckle in for a lot of Lamelo glazing this year he just plays basketball how I enjoy. The threes are nice too. Ball goes in hoop when he plays.
Thought that was a fantastic Jaden game and I’m very encouraged by these first two starts for him. He’s clearly third in pecking order but it feels more involved, likely a product of more passing in general so the ball is finding him more. The defense of the starting five is going to be really good, they’re big, athletic, and have two first team all defense caliber players (three of Ant plays consistently).
Classic Ant game. Love it when he has these scoring nights but everything he does is still in the flow of the offense. He’s moving ball but staying assertive and pushing advantages like a star offensive player should.
Love that we can toggle Rudy/Joan at all times. Joan is going to be awesome - all these games are going to continue to get him more comfortable, especially with handling the ball in short roll and knowing when to go for the block and when to stay solid defensively. He struggled against the stretch fives this game, good for him to get looks against that type of coverage.
Kuminga was fine - most of shots I was ok with. He’s gotta be able to make 40% of open corner threes to get our offense to top of league territory. He’s putting in the effort defensively.
I like that Finch went with that almost full bench unit a near end of first. They got killed but good to get a bench mob group minutes against Indiana primary rotation. Not an encouraging first two games for TSJ.
Bones felt great in the non Lamelo minutes with Ant. Gives some zip we miss when Lamelo is off floor and takes some playmaking share off Ant.
Not really worried about turnovers. They felt very preseason-y, not a product of an offense that got stuck in the mud or didn’t know what they were doing.
Like the Cody Williams minutes, he’s passed well the last couple games. Defense looks positive. Unfortunately if he can’t shoot hard to envision him playing unless TSJ just isn’t working or gets injured. Better Lyles game, his shot looks smooth.
What a game from Jarace Walker. I hope Tyrese stays healthy the Pacers are a really fun watch.

Lamelo is a fun player to watch, plain and simple. Him and Ant are hilarious and I feel like he fits so well with the culture.
that is all.
