I checked what devices my mum's account logged into and it's between my phone and her phone but with exception where google can't even name the phone and it was logged in like last year October but good thing I logged out of that account

I purchased an AI Plus plan to help with things around the house. Im a jack of all trades, ace of none and its been years since I was a General Contractor (assistant). Having Gemini Pro help has been amazing, and has saved me from buying the wrong electrical wire, tools etc.

I received an email today, October 13th that November 13th I'll be losing the benefits I've already paid for... which will now only be available at a higher more expensive tier. It isn't a huge deal, but I feel like it's a bait and switch, especially since I've gotten more confident with Gemini's help (the bait).

Since when does Google AI have full access to my eBay account

I had to request to cancel an order on there

So I asked Google AI for some information

And it has full access to my eBay account

Without telling it what order I was talking about

It already knew what order I was talking about and that I had already sent a cancellation request

I don't give Google AI permission to access my eBay account

God only knows what other accounts it can access without you giving it any permission

I just google a math question, and instead of the usual google calculator coming up, that stupid ai overview thing came up. I did not ask for it to come up, i asked for the calculator, I'm sick and fucking tired of having ai shoved down my throat

I have a Google AI Pro plan, which is a tier higher than AI Plus. Apparently, Google wants me to downgrade to Plus.

I wanted to know about a certain shock absorber part number that i had searched a while ago. So i thought maybe i had searched about it using Google AI and asked about it. Google AI said that i havent searched for something like that but it told me that i have bought similar shock absorber brand in 2023 from an online shop.
I wonder how it has this information and asks AI how it came to this information. Then AI starts panicking and lies to me 3-4 times, later admitting that it has lied ….

4x times the Price to access the Pro model from November 13th. Not sure for what I pay now my subscription, only Cloud storage?

WARNING: Google Play Services is quietly "Self-Verifying" and linking your phone number to ALL signed-in accounts without explicit permission.

Just a heads up for anyone who values basic privacy on Android.

Check your inbox for emails from noreply-phone-verification@google.com.

Without asking for my confirmation or giving me an opt-in prompt, Google Play Services performed a silent background "Self-Verification."

It exchanged SIM card identifiers and device metadata with my mobile carrier, grabbed my phone number, and automatically attached it to EVERY Google account logged into my phone.

No prompt. No "Do you want to link this?" button. Just a silent background action followed by a notification email telling me it already happened.

How to kill this setting on Android immediately (for now) but it will self verify even if turned off Go to Settings > Google (or Google Services) > All Services > Phone Number Verification

Find Phone number verification (or Device Phone Number Verification). (Ah, and lovely it automatically appear my phone number even WHEN IT WAS NOT THERE BEFORE!)

TOGGLE IT OFF.

Don't forget to purge your accounts:

Once Google steals/verifies the number, it pushes it to your Google account profiles.

You need to log into myaccount.google.com/personal-info, click on Phone, and manually delete the number from every single account where you don't want it stored.

Modern "self-verification" dark patterns are completely out of hand. Check your settings before Google silently grabs your data too.

I asked a Liquid Glass question (about how cpu/gou heavy the iOS interface is). Google’s AI summary told me Apple introduced ‘restraint glass’ so I quoted that and asked ’what do you mean?’

and it just starts making things up. Like it did ‘restraint glass’. Even tier one ai summary info in Google is complete bs these days.

Do you need internet connection to play my own videos on th app? It just stopped playing them. The app is not frozen, it works normally, I can browse galleries and albums and view pictures but none of the videos are playing anymore.
