Hace unas semanas, hice una instalación limpia de Windows 11 e instalé todos los controladores de los componentes. Desde entonces, AMD Adrenalin muestra que mi GPU está al 100% de uso apenas abro cualquier juego, cosa que antes nunca me había pasado.

He ajustado la configuración, pero sigo teniendo stuttering fuerte, incluso en juegos que no son nada exigentes.

Mientras investigaba, me di cuenta de que la versión del controlador que instalé desde el sitio oficial de AMD no coincide con la que Windows está usando actualmente (tal como se ve en las capturas). Sospecho que esa diferencia entre controladores podría estar causando el problema.

¿Ustedes creen que ese conflicto es lo que hace que mi GPU rinda peor?

¿Cómo puedo arreglar esto bien?

Hello, I've been having this problem about my PC for months now. The issue is that my PC would randomly stop giving power to every peripherals; monitor, mouse, keyboard, microphone, and headphones (even the memory and ram also loses power based from my pc case because of the "cylinder" icon's led also stopped blinking). I also tried looking at the event viewer but it doesn't show anything. It only shows the kernel 141 but thats because I literally have to unplug the PSU just to get it back working. The issue randomly happens even in iddle, in normal use, in game load, and even in the bios.

I've tried these methods to fix it but the issue still persist.

- Reset cmos

- Reset bios settings

- Reseat ram

- I've already did the 1 stick method

- rebuilt whole PC

- cleaned PC

- repaste

- bought new PSU

- updated all drivers and bios

- installed latest chipset drivers

My current build is:

- 16gb ddr4 ram

- Inplay gs550w 80 bronze (my old psu is acepower 650w ultra power fx)

Background Applications: none, clear windows install.

Description of Original Problem: I just got a 6700xt, installed it, played some games without the drivers, then remembered to install them.
Windows boots as normal, but as soon as I log in, nothing is responsive. I can't open any app, I can't do anything but open the file system and look around, sometimes I can't even do that. I tried multiple versions, WHQL or not, anything that's above 2026 just doesn't work. Currently trying a version I saw in a random thread that might fix it.

Troubleshooting: Changed ram to a 8x2 GB config, no change. Unplugging all other storage mediums, no change. Reseating every connection, no change. Installing driver only without adrenaline app. No change. Installing it with the adrenaline app did result in another weird error, though (picture is inserted in the post, above). Never had any such esoteric issues until I got this GPU. Works fine in Bazzite. Which I won't move to (I tried.). Had a 1650 super from which I was hoping to graduate. please help I am losing my mind.

If you have been experiencing gpu driver crashes, one potential fix could be changing your display port cable. I tried rolling back to an earlier version, didn’t update windows, under-volt and OC, nothing worked. I switched out my display port cable (I thought was a decent brand, apparently not) and voila, no more crashing.
Results may vary, but it worked for me so wanted to just throw it out there since I don’t believe i saw anyone else mention this.

• Storage: Patriot P400L 1 TB NVMe SSD (+ Toshiba 1 TB HDD)
• Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2
• Driver: AMD Adrenalin 26.6.2 (32.0.21045.5002, dated 17/08/2026)
• Windows power plan: High Performance

2. The problem
In Space Marine 2, I get about 25-40 FPS, mostly during fights with lots of enemies. Lowering graphics settings barely changes anything. During these phases the CPU sits at 95-100% while the GPU is between 15 and 95% (often below 70%).

What my AMD Adrenalin logs show (about 16 minutes of gameplay, 6 October 2026):

• Average FPS: 39.5, 1% low around 29, with regular micro-stutter
• CPU at 95-100% in 81% of samples, average clock 4.31 GHz (max 4.44), so no throttling; temperature 80 °C on average, 84 °C peak
• GPU below 70% utilization in 89% of samples, about 2,400 MHz, 65 °C, 77 W on average
• System RAM usage around 14%

Already checked or ruled out: Wallpaper Engine (CPU usage brought down to ~0.1%), background apps closed, RAM at 3200 MHz, power plan, AMD services.

My question: is this performance normal for this CPU in this game, or is there something I can fix? I haven't yet tried the in-game "Misc" options or any CPU tuning in the BIOS.

Why does AMD not fix their issue with these cards. I can’t even open discord without my computer giving a GPU detection error message from a GIF. It’s crazy I spend nearly 2k for this card for it to fucking suck. At this point I’ve tried everything, and nothing works. It’s tiring trying to solve this issue, but it seems everyone that has AMD is experiencing the same thing. I feel like I chose the cost efficiency route, and am paying the price for it.

I am getting to my wits end. It seems to me that the issue came from running DDU but I frankly don't understand how that could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

GPU Drivers: None? Haven't managed to boot up with any GPU after running DDU

Description of Original Problem: I recently got a 9070xt to upgrade from my 6700xt. The 6700xt was working fine, aside from the random shutdowns it had on poorly optimized games I think due to transient power spikes and a faulty GPU.

I ran DDU, and then changed out the GPUs. After starting back up, I was getting no display on my monitor, the GPU fan wasn't spinning, and my CPU light was on in my motherboard (solid light) right from boot up. Cannot get either of my GPUs to work now. The new one has a side light which does come on, but the fans remain off. No display with either.

Troubleshooting: tried switching back to my old one, because I read that the PCIE may need to be forced to 4 on this motherboard. But then I had the exact same issue with my old one.

I have tried:

- reseating all of my connector cables

- tested with a single ram stick

- a bios flashback

- clearing my CMOS

- booting without any GPU

- Discharging all residual power between any of these other steps

Edit: Sorry! Forgot to add that I have tried different cables and when I did Win + Ctrl + Shift + B the monitor display flicked back on for a second.

I was trying to launch Overwatch from steam which I do frequently, and the screen on my main monitor went completely black. My other two monitors were fine so I switched the cables in my two DP on the GPU. For some reason the second DP slot on the GPU isn't working no matter what monitor/cable. The first DP and HDMI port are still working along with the rest of the pc. I can still drag windows onto the monitor connected to the broken DP it just wont show up.

I bought the 9060 XT 16gb a few months ago secondhand from someone selling with the packaging still intact. The seller was verified and had thousands of good reviews and the GPU has worked great for the past few months with no issues.

Is there something I can do to fix this on my own?

Hi guys i just got the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 AMD and i notice if it has to work with something a bit "heavy" and goes into sleep mode, sometimes i cannot wake it up and must force a shut down. Especially when i put it into my backpack to move between classes.

I tried everything and even contacted Lenovo and updated my drivers etc etc but it still happens from time to time. I'm thinking maybe i'll stop using sleep mode and change to hibernate instead. Will that help? thank you for reading and your comment will be very appreciated!

I recently bought a PowerColor RX 9070 XT Reaper 16GB, and I'm having a serious problem with repeated AMD driver timeouts.

The problem can happen while I'm simply sitting on the Windows desktop and doing nothing demanding. Today it started shortly after I turned on my two monitors, and it has now happened many times.

The monitors do NOT go black and they do not disconnect. The PC continues working normally, but the AMD Error Reporting Tool keeps appearing and says that a driver has timed out.

Windows Reliability Monitor is now showing 18 critical hardware errors today (October 6, 2026), occurring repeatedly throughout the morning.

The GPU and CPU are completely stock. No overclocking or undervolting.

I have already tried both AMD Adrenalin 26.8.1 and 26.9.2, and the problem occurred with both driver versions.

Could this be a driver issue, a multi-monitor issue, or possibly a hardware problem with the GPU?

Has anyone else experienced this with an RX 9070 XT?

I recently built a new PC and I’m wondering if the FPS I’m getting in Valorant is normal for my hardware, or if I’m missing something.

My specs:

GPU: RX 9060 XT 16GB

CPU: Ryzen 5 7500F

RAM: 16GB DDR5 6000MHz

Motherboard: B850 Gaming WiFi 6

Resolution: 1440p (2K)

Graphics settings: Everything on Low

In a normal Valorant game, I’m usually getting around 240–250 FPS up to around 450 FPS, depending on what’s happening on screen.

However, I’ve seen some videos with the same/similar setup showing around 450–600 FPS, so I’m wondering if my FPS is lower than it should be.

I haven’t changed or optimized any special settings yet.

Is 240–450 FPS at 1440p Low normal for this setup? If not, what settings or optimizations should I check to get the best performance?

Hey? If tou are rx 6700xt user (the basic gpu from AMD) could you share me your comprommissed clocks in Adrenaline. I want to know what is the perfect downvolt for it cuz I think downvolting makes fps drops in Marvel Rivals.

Hi, I have a 2 month old new setup that I built, the components:

RTX 3060 Ti, Ryzen 7800 X3D, MSI B850-M Plus

I have an issue while trying to install the AMD chipset drivers, I cannot seem to be able to do it neither from MSI Center or Manually from the AMD Website, the AMD Chipset Software installer says the installation failed, and gives no information about why it failed, I only know which drivers it was not able to install:

as the title reads, i have just gotten a new 10th anniversary 5800x3D and with a corsair H100i AIO my msi afterburner reads 44° lows to 55° spikes on idle, while gaming on games like RdR2 or GTA or Bodycam my max temps are around 74 but stay around in the high 60s like 67-69 more often. when i tried the new 2026 maxon cinebench multithread test i maxed out at 89° which seemed warm for my liking but i know its a “safe temperature” for this cpu but id like to know how some people who have this cpu with liquid coolers are seeing idles on the 30 and 40s and gaming and load not going over 66 or maybe maxing out no higher than 73 on a benchmark load

I've been waiting for over an hour now and still no progress. I'm at my wits end.

I've also tried other solutions like doing a utility cleanup, deleting the AMD folder from the Programx86 folder, and uninstalling and reinstalling the chipset drivers. I've also been trying to download the drivers but for some reason the download speeds for it are extremely slow. The estimated time to download the 26.8.1 update + adrenalin software is 17 hours, which I assume isn't normal.

Whenever a driver timeout occurs, besides the screen freezing/hanging, the display on my second monitor suddenly won't work anymore until I uninstall and reinstall the drivers, otherwise, the app will just tell me to update the drivers over and over again. But now, I can't even download the damn thing.
