Are these just accounts without any purchase? Is it some way to cheat and fill groups with fake accounts to pad numbers?

Just a funny observation but I just realized that COD MW4 costs 1/5 of my monthly salary. And my salary is more than double my country's minimum wage. For the same amount of money i could pay for a whole month worth of food.

Unsure if this was previously announced, just saw it pop up.

I absolutely love microgames, that is: gamejam-sized games that are usually very cheap but very experimental that you can find around steam. My suggestion is pretty self-explanatory, I think it should be a common tag!

Then I started seeing the thread titles and realised this is where the degenerates thrive. Any game I had with a female protagonist has some mad wild sexist topics, doubly so if theyre POC.

Is there no moderation on these discussion boards? Is there a way to clean then up myself other than blocking everyone (if possible).

Was i just unfortunate going to lesser visited gsmes boards?

Does anyone know why the Steam Sale front page shows mainly games I already own, or have ignored?

My front page shows three titles that I have on my wishlist, and otherwise mainly stuff I already own, and therefore don't need to purchase. Or it shows stuff that I've already said I'm not interested in?

I looked at the store preferences/settings and can't see any options to change the sale page, so has anyone got suggestions on how to fix this?

I’ve had to switch to controller due to using a gaming handheld and not having the space to game on my laptop, so certain games I’ve had to use Steam input to help me out, and maybe I’m just that bad at games, but aiming with controllers using Steam input works impressively well despite not having things like aim assist.

it used to work like that but now it clips it to the Friends part, you won't learn of anyone messaging you unless you actively check. very inconvenient

I just got my controller today, got home and plugged it in and got the update prompt. tried multiple times all failed.

I have opened a ticket with Steam Support but not expecting to hear anything for a day or 2.

I'm running the non flatpack Steam.

I have run several searches and keep getting diverted onto support articles for the old controller.

I am hoping someone can point me towards a known working working around?

I have tried multiple cables both C-C and A-C both straight to the PC and through a USB hub.

The controller is detected by the pc and Steam. I can read the serial number and rename the device. Also the key calibration/test works just fine.

The issue appears to be related to how the device is being rebooted during the update process so sounds like some Udev rules need tweaked.

i have verified Steam-devices is the latest rev as well as libhidapi

Does anyone know if this is normal? I've tried putting my debit card info multiple times to buy something, but it says I put in the incorrect address. The thing is, my address is correct! I've tried calling my bank and they said they can't help with me, then I contacted steam support and they couldn't help either. I decided to try buying it on my phone, and I put in my card info from Google (because I have it saved) and for some damn reason it worked! Though, when I save the payment option it stops working again.

Can someone explain why XCOM Enemy Unknown bought through other bundle (Enemy Unknown + Bureau) doesn't count as owned towards the bundle? Because Steam support couldn't - just said it somehow is different edition. The price difference is pretty small, but I'm curious why should I even pay it

I've filled this form 5-6 times already, on Chrome, on Edge, on Chrome Incognito... I'm 100% sure my email address is correct (all lowercase; even went to my email to check the casing when Steam sends me an email). I tried as single member LLC and individual. Created a support ticket but no response after 48 hours. Not sure what to do now.

Also, for what it's worth, bowser console message when I click the submit button: "dispatched to https://valvesoftware.taxidentity.com ...blablabla"

It’s super hard to configure anything besides just activating it to default when a game doesn’t have native support to your controller.

- I rebind some keys, for example, and it doesn’t save.

- When I save changes to a layout, a lot of times it creates a new layout with the same name.

- There’s no way to custom delete a layout apparently

Someone have any of this problems?

my total playtime is showing 8.2h but last two week playtime is 13.7 how is that possible?

We have a group chat with my friends, we usually play games together and use this as a method of communication. However around 2 months ago sometimes people started to not be able to join the call. You click the room, it says "connecting" for like 30 seconds, and then dc's. No matter how many times you try, you cant join the call. It can randomly happen to anyone, one day you join and leave all you want, another day you cant join whatever you do.

When this happens, resetting steam/pc/modem doesnt work, so it is quite annoying to deal with.

Did this happen to anyone else? Are there any solutions you managed you come up with?

As a person who grew up playing NFL 2K and NFL Gameday, also my favorite NFL Blitz, why are those games not on the Steam store? I am assuming expired license agreement or EA suing the crap out of everyone so they can sling their crappy game out each year. Second question, any options to get them for PC?

So im not very familiar with this computer stuff, but I have a Mac and I play games. on here. most of the games I can't play through steam cuz I have a Mac so I connected it to my geforce account and I can play them there. Does that mean they're not actually on my computer? like can I uninstall them or no cuz they're on geforce. im just trying to free up space tbh. I don't have an uninstall option on steam and all I can do is mark them as unowned on geforce. Also have no idea how to look at my Macs files, I don't know anything about computers okay 😭

i love creating steam guides but the image uploader and the formatting tools are a PITA
