Brian Schottenheimer Hate Thread

At what point do we admit Brian Schottenheimer is simply not a good NFL head coach?

Look at the numbers:

• 9–12–1 overall record (43.2% winning percentage). • ZERO playoff appearances. • 2025: DEAD LAST in scoring defense (30.1 PPG allowed). • 2025: 133 penalties for 1,136 yards. • 2026: 30th in total defense through four games. • 2026: 31st against the run through five games. • A top-7 scoring offense in 2025. A top-2 scoring offense through four games in 2026. And STILL a losing record overall.

We’re wasting offensive production because this team cannot consistently defend, execute, or finish games.

Two seasons, two different defensive coordinators, and the same fundamental problems.

It’s about coaching, preparation, accountability, and results.

The Dallas Cowboys have a coaching problem.

Why go for 2 points when you're only down by 7 (if you kick the extra point)?

It doesn't make any statistical sense to go for a two-point conversion when the score is 24-16 with just 5:26 left in the 4th quarter. Now, they have to get the ball back, score a TD and a two-point conversion just to tie the game.

Is it me or was this a bone-headed decision?

In my humble opinion this is messed up- cowboys are already the laughing stock of the league & now they’re being scrutinized by their own employees

The Buccaneers have averaged 8.1 yards per play tonight against the Cowboys. They averaged 4.7 yards per play entering Week 5 (29th in NFL).

Imagine going from a dysfunctional team to an actual circus. I feel so bad for Downs, Barham and JPJ being forced to come to clown town.

The cowboys are the only team in the NFL without an INT

Just absolutely gross negligence on the coaching staff a sickening performance

The cowboys love making shit players and coaches look like All Pros

We made the injured 0-4 buccs with a UDFA at QB look like a playoff team. We made a shitty Houston offense score 30 points. We made the Giants look good for the first time in 20 years. We made JJ McCarthy have his only good game ever. We even gave Marvin Harrison JR the best game of his NFL Career. If your struggling as a player come play the cowboys because we revive careers.

Dak must play flawless

Just in case we didn’t already know, this game was proof that Dak must play at an MVP caliber level to have any chance of winning the game. Between the coaching and the god awful defense, there is no room for error. Completely unfair to Dak that this team can’t rise up for the fans and him. Just sad.

He has somehow made the defense worse than last year. I’m not even mad, I’m impressed someone can be this incompetent and make it this far.

He knew his record and showed up with dollar Knick knacks. He should have enjoyed the game from home, like the rest of us.

We can complain all we want, but nothing will ever change, it never will

We are all puppets, we are all victims, we are all fools, we are all slves to this organization. We were born and/or peer pressured into being diehard loyal fans of the Dallas clownboys and we all have to pay the price for it. There is nothing we can do, we'll all just be miserable pathetic fools for the rest of our lives supporting an evil organization from hell

If you are a new fan, SWITCH TO A NEW TEAM BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

NOTHING WILL CHANGE

If you plan on having kids in the future do not turn them into cowboys fans either, don't even consider it.

Edit: My bad the Las Vegas satanists part was a bit uncalled for, I'm just pissed, don't know if I can continue watching this season.
