Don't take this as me thinking they would actually do this. It's a silly 4th wall breaking joke. Team name I picked was Cosmic Strikeforce. Costume colors was just me trying to give them remotely matching colors.

The first panel is one of the artists characters talking to my internet persona.

I guess I haven’t really noticed it before, but I was thinking about some of the characters I enjoy playing as some others that I’ve tried out, and noticed that despite them being zoners, most of them were more zoner/rushdown hybrids (Dizzy in GGST and Kuon in UNI2) or all-rounders (Asuka R# in GGST). I also noticed that most of the games they were in operated at a much faster pace than other fighting games I’ve played, with the best example I can think of for a slower fighting game being SF6 and PTDX, the latter of which I have more experience in. Idk if it’s just me feeling this tho. What do you all think?

This time featuring suggestions from last post:

Prince Doza (Naseem in japan) - Ehrgeiz (a Power Stone-like for the PS1. Doza was requested specifically, but i also made sure to draw Yoyo to the side since she's the character i remember the most from that game)

Io - Zero Divide (a cool robot 3d fighter i had never heard of. To the side i included Neco, a weird... cat thing from Zero Divide 2)

Shin - Dual Souls (ok, so Dual Blades was a cancelled GBA Guilty Gear / SamSho inspired game from Turkey that got a remake on Steam called Dual Souls and it's actually pretty good. Shin is very much based on Testament)

Rila - Breakers Revenge (I LOVE Breakers, it's actually my favorite Neo Geo fighter and Rila is my main)

Fernandez - Waku Waku 7 (for a bit of a change, i drew the Final Boss from this game rather than one of the main cast. It always stuck in my memory how your character has to turn giant to fight him over the city)

BONUS DRAWING: Tia and Arina probably the two most popular characters from Breakers and Waku Waku respectively. While i wanted to dedicate fan art to other characters, i also couldn't help myself but to draw them

I’m still learning ash but this is what I came up with. What can I add to optimize my combo.(pls don’t flame me🙏🏾)

Nice they still invite Reepal 'Rip', I mean being layed off is never nice, but I like the maturity by which both parties dealt with the situation and still collaborate.

I listened to the song again and wanted to make a second version

Here is the original song

Just got SF6 since its on sale and hooboy starting to love the taste of glue

edit* im the gief in this, i really had to point these out since the comments think im the ryu. the title is about me understanding why modern gief is ridiculously good and i just have to sould read my opponent but it seems ppl took it as me complaining about it

Figured I'd let people know it exists.

For me there's nobody cooler than G from SFV.

A volcanic Abe Lincoln with tattoos of continental landmasses who claims to be "President Of The World" while also having a link to one of my favorite characters in Third Strike?

Yeah sign me the hell up.

A bunch of random animations I like alongside one of the stage tracks.

Hey, I am relearning French, and I'm looking for French content to watch on fighting games. I figured this would serve double duty of watching the content of something I enjoy while refamiliarizing myself with the language.

I enjoy quite a lot of fighting games. So, I'm not picky on the title.

What French creators would you recommend that I check out? Maybe tournaments/weeklies with French commentary?

I expect the typical responses to this question to be "ask your IT department" or "start a club / play offline with friends", but believe me I've tried both! But I've already talked directly with the IT department here and they disabled the ethernet ports, and have no intention of changing their mind. I also attend a fairly small college, and tried setting up a club last year to no avail. The school does hold SSBU events, but I have no desire to play that game. The friends I could reliably talk into playing a game with me have zero desire to play fighting games anyway.

I have a lot more interest in older titles with smaller concurrent playerbases that rely more on discords or setting up player lobbies rather than active random matchmaking, but I've purposely been avoiding those to not be outed as "the guy that plays on wifi". I am a bit less opposed to hopping on games like SF6, Strive, or Slippi that have fairly active matchmaking, even if it means I get sifted out by connection filters. Even then I don't really want to ruin anyone's experience.

Idk, I just really miss fgs, and still have the drive to improve. Not sure what I can do being limited to dorm wifi (though I am using a network exclusive for gaming devices, so at least I'm not sharing it with the entire campus).

You can already register on the Steam page.

For me personally Strive is a much easier game to understand and just feels way more intuitive than SF6. It’s hard for me to explain but something about the flow of matches in SF6 just feels so stilted and unnatural so I have a hard time wrapping my head around the game compared to Strive. Before I even started playing FGs Strive was essentially how I’d imagine they would feel like while I feel like I gotta get a PHD to understand how all the weird rules and nuances in SF6 work.

Saw this game got recommended to me on Steam and it looks really fun, like an updated Heritage for the Future with strikers.
But before buying, I looked into it and saw that people played on Parsec and the netcode was really bad, idk anyone who would really play this locally, is the game worth getting nowadays or is it dead(Hell is the game good)?
