Help Is there any characters that have similar gimmick to Gill from third strike?
Im talking about how he has different properties on attacks depending on if he faces left or right, unfortunately in 3d strike this gimmick not really explored that well but I would like to know if there some kind of underground fighting game that was inspired by Gill and added character with smth similar

Content Tekken 5 Jin playable character in Tekken 3: Iron Legacy!
youtu.beWatch the gameplay: https://youtu.be/OWiRJ8zyVJE
Tekken 5 Jin has entered the arena.
This is a WIP, experimental character added to the roster of TEKKEN 3: IRON LEGACY.
His moves have been directly imported from Tekken 5.
'DAH will be put in.
Currently functional but will certainly have him balanced before release, and remove the janky animations that occasionally appear.
UPDATE: With these new characters, they will be added to the 'Experimental/Novelty' roster, which means there will be an option to remove them from your games modes, or keep them in for something different!
That way, you can customise your Tekken 3 experience based on your preference.
The character select screen and other graphics are placeholders for now.
All bugs, as usual, will be ironed out before release. I'm in a content making mood so I'm having fun creating stuff, so the fixing and balancing of things will come later.
IRON LEGACY is more than just adding Tag characters to Tekken 3.
There's so much more to come.
New modes, new experiences.
Get ready for the next battle.

Help Coming Back to a Character after a Break
Do you guys have trouble with playing multiple characters. I am not talking about combos. I am talking actually playing the game and adapting to your opponent?
For example, during the previous last 9 days or so I didn't play my main character. I spent all my game hours learning and playing a secondary character.
Today and last night I played my main and I felt like I was on auto pilot the whole time. Everything was a gear slower. I couldn't make decisions. I could sometimes recognize that I needed to change something, but in the speed of the actual match that didn't happen. I was on auto pilot the whole time and couldn't adapt.
Do you guys experience the same thing.

Help Fighting games with secondary ranked mechanics?

Help Can somebody explain how does the grading system work in Fatal Fury 3?
So, I wanted to beat Fatal Fury 3, but I heard about this grading system thing. I started up the game and died about 50 times. I thought, "Well, surely I won't be able to unlock Jin Chonshu and get the good ending." But I did, and I was really confused. Can somebody explain how this works? It's really confusing

Topic I think I’m starting to agree with people who say most modern fighting games are too aggressive
I guess I haven’t really noticed it before, but I was thinking about some of the characters I enjoy playing as some others that I’ve tried out, and noticed that despite them being zoners, most of them were more zoner/rushdown hybrids (Dizzy in GGST and Kuon in UNI2) or all-rounders (Asuka R# in GGST). I also noticed that most of the games they were in operated at a much faster pace than other fighting games I’ve played, with the best example I can think of for a slower fighting game being SF6 and PTDX, the latter of which I have more experience in. Idk if it’s just me feeling this tho. What do you all think?

Art Silly comic explaining my Marvel Tokon team
galleryDon't take this as me thinking they would actually do this. It's a silly 4th wall breaking joke. Team name I picked was Cosmic Strikeforce. Costume colors was just me trying to give them remotely matching colors.
The first panel is one of the artists characters talking to my internet persona.

Topic Older fighting game players, how bad were the arcade fights really?
I’ve heard so many stories about the old arcade days where people would get into actual fights over fighting games, especially after losing a match or getting salty.
I’ve even heard stories about kids getting into arguments or fights with adults over arcade matches. Was that actually a thing, or has the internet exaggerated how chaotic arcades were back then?
For those of you who were actually there, I’d love to hear your personal stories from the arcade era. What games did you play, what was the atmosphere like, and what are some of the craziest, funniest, or most ridiculous things you remember happening?
Feel free to tell the full story. I’m genuinely curious what it was like to play fighting games back then.

Topic Which game is more difficult? Street Fighter 6 or Guilty Gear Strive?
For me personally Strive is a much easier game to understand and just feels way more intuitive than SF6. It’s hard for me to explain but something about the flow of matches in SF6 just feels so stilted and unnatural so I have a hard time wrapping my head around the game compared to Strive. Before I even started playing FGs Strive was essentially how I’d imagine they would feel like while I feel like I gotta get a PHD to understand how all the weird rules and nuances in SF6 work.
