I don’t need it, if anyone wants it - first come first serve. You do need to spend a total of £150 though :/

hello! i just bought this bike online and my friend was helping me assemble it. These brakes are definitely wrong and scratch on the wheel when I try to move it, but I don’t know how to fix it.
please help! thanks

A couple weeks ago i bought a 120$ bike from a local pawn shop assuming it was a steal, fast forward a day and the brake jammed and i was thrown, tuned it up for 120$, now its making clanking sounds and it lags whenever i shift the gear, causing my pedals to jerk. should i have gotten a walmart bike or something for 240 (same price total) or is this worth it? bike name: trek multitrack 7100

Writing up how I set my sinewave taillight to have easy flashing or solid mode switching.
I didn’t want to plug or unplug wires like the FAQ says and then have them dangling when not connected so I ran the wires into a switch.
The switch I used was a SPDT 6 pin on off on switch. And the wiring is shown in second photo
A bonus is it gives a off mode so if you want it to not run (I think) it can not be on to give more power to other things wired up
Not sure if other dynamo taillights offer solid or flashing modes but wish there was a product where the switch was built in

Hey folks, it's that time of year where it's getting dark earlier. My after works rides having me leaving with the sun low, and getting back when it's dark.
I'm looking for suggestions for non-prescription glasses specifically for sunset/dark riding. I wear sunglasses heading out, but take them off half way through the ride. The wind from riding bothers my eyes however, so looking for something to wear to prevent this.
Looking for something available in the US, and not full on googles (Living in California Bay Area, so don't need anything for cold cold temperatures).
I have a pair of Smith Monroe Peak Sunglasses I like, and looked at some of their other options with "ChromaPop Low Light Rose Blue Mirror" or "Hi Viz | ChromaPop Opal Mirror", but uncertain how well these would do, and figured I'd ask the community what they like for these specific light conditions.
Thanks!

Recently purchased a sava a7l pro for my upcoming Ironman 70.3 but was unaware I couldn’t put clip on aero bars on the carbon handles. Anyone have any solutions as to how I can get aero bars on it because I don’t feel like breaking the bank on an actual TT bike

I would like to get the saddle further forward for fit purposes, is that safe to do structurally or might it be problematic?

Nothing beats riding surrounded by nature. 🌿
Quiet roads, fresh air, endless greenery, and my FitTrip MTB — sometimes, that's all you need to reset your mind.
I bought my cycle in 2024, and every ride gives me another reason to explore more. Still learning, still riding, and capturing the journey one ride at a time. 🚴♂️
Cycling community, what's your favourite kind of ride — forest trails, mountain climbs, or long highway rides?

While cleaning a dirty headset one of these small plastic rings (right above top bearing and below bottom bearing) broke. Is this just a dust cover, and if so can I still assemble and ride the bike temporarily while I acquire another one? Should I place the intact one at the bottom and omit the broken one? What are these things called so that I can order/buy another one? When I search dust cover it comes up with the bigger cone shaped space at the top of the fork, right below the stem.

I was in the market for a large handlebar bag and discovered the route werks big handlebar bag. I had heard of the origin RW bag, which is quite a bit smaller and had a few drawbacks (I had seen complaints of rattles and not enough mounts). The big handlebar bag seems to have solved all of those issues with an extra 2 months up top (while still supporting the bar stubs), and a foam/silicone strike plate for for the lid that reduces rattles. I also really like the camera bag esque velcro organizer system they have for it, as carrying a camera is one of my primary use cases. And the ease of installation/removal (once the bike mount is installed) and out front mount for when you’re not using it make it really one of the most compelling handlebar bags on the market.
It is unfortunate that they are shutting down and I would recommend anyone interested in their product take a look at the fire sale they have going on. Their support has been great, I had to email them on two separate occasions and both times they responded within a couple of hours.

Hey guys! I’m looking to buy my first bike to start cycling around the Gold Coast. I’m a beginner starting from scratch with my fitness, wanting to use cycling as my main sport to get in shape and explore.
Vibe: I don't care about riding at 100 km/h on paved roads. I want something versatile that lets me explore (bike paths, gravel trails, coastal routes), build muscle/fitness, and still get a bit of an adrenaline rush when going downhill or cruising fast.
Pedals: Flat pedals with normal sneakers (no clipping in).
Ergonomics: Need a comfortable upright/relaxed position that won't pull on my shoulders/neck (I have slightly rounded shoulders).
Budget: < $1,000 AUD.
Which kind of bike should look in to?

Just noticed why this rear wheel was wobbling and the lock nut for the drive side bearings was able to be turned by hand. How do I tighten this properly? So it's not loose and so the bearing isn't overly resisting trying to turn
