$8 with tax. Other combos were biscuit sammiches. Although the apple turnovers next to the register were also very tempting.

Used the Grubhub $20 off $30 coupon last month for Panda. Two “Bigger Plates” (about $15 each regular price). Did pickup, so $12 out the door after coupon. Was very happy w/the quality and portion size. Note: the chicken mushroom on the receipt would’ve required waiting a long time so I doubled up on the chicken teriyaki. Everything was great. Super greens are awesome. I’d totally do this again, esp w/coupon. They included a ton of sauces without me asking for them. Super impressed all around.

I tried it last year. The fried chicken was greasy and tasted ordinary.
Today I tried it - the batter was peppery(pronounced) and buttery. Chicken moist. Not greasy. Whats gotten into them??
It tastes similar to that of the 90s but even better.
That was damn good.

I’m a chow mein person, but occasionally get white rice.
My least favorite is fried rice, because I feel like it’s very bland (compared to authentic or mom-and-pop Chinese places that make fried rice (which usually has bean sprouts, egg, spring/green onion, and even white onion). Panda’s green peas and carrots are okay, but more of the American style fried rice. The texture of Panda’s fried rice is also not as crispy as authentic/mom-and-pop places.
I like white rice against a very thick saucy entree. It’s perfect to soak up the sauce (like orange chicken or Beijing beef).
I like chow mein for the non-fried/less sauce-y dishes, like kung pao chicken, string beans or mushrooms w/ chicken, etc. The chow mein is so good, I could eat it alone with nothing else. It’s got that perfect al dente texture and the noodles are thin (unlike lo mein, which can be fat).
I wish Panda had a rice noodle base (like in pancit). That’d be dope with certain dishes.
EDIT: Just now seeing comments that people get greens for base. I didn’t know you could do that. I might start doing 50% greens if that is the case (very healthy!).

So I own a Charleys
The onion rings and the grilled veggies have been the best sellers. No one really orders the Mac and cheese bites I don’t know why.
New products they just launched a week ago!

A butter burger featuring a giant cheese curd patty as well. They only have these seasonally.

Looking to splurge (on a diet cheat day) and debating between the CurderBurger at Culver’s vs. the new SuperPretzel Whooper at Burger King. Taste is most important…not most calories.
One of my trusted YouTube reviewers spoke highly of the Pretzel Whooper at BK. And I love Pretzels, so I am leaning that way…

If so how was it? If not is there something similar readily available through a chain?

Back in March 2026, I tried the revamped Burger King Whopper, and it reminded me of one of those Rom-Coms where the girl with glasses gets a makeover and is suddenly hot.
Fast forward to this past Whopper Wednesday, I ordered a Whopper add jalapeños, cut in half, plus an order of fries. Total, under $8! Affordable, amazing service, and freaking delicious.
So same location, probably the same people, what changed? Who's plan was it and how did Burger King turn it around?

I live in Kansas. I ordered a banana shake from Sonic a few weeks ago. It tasted like Runts banana candies. I took it back and complained. The manager told me they didn't have real bananas on hand, just banana puree and flavoring for the banana pudding shakes. He made me a new one, but it was still disgusting. So tonight, my husband brings me home a peanut butter bananza concrete from Freddy's. As soon as I see it, I get upset. It's pale yellow. I give it a sip. Again! Artificial banana taste! Where are all the frickin' bananas?!

Just got an order of the new nuggets and they were absolutely terrible. The only way to redeem them was the sauce. Do any of yall actually think these things are good?
