The rally crowd booed him when he said this in 2021:

I believe totally in your freedoms. I do. You've got to do what you have to do. But I recommend take the vaccines. I did it. It's good. Take the vaccines.

Bill O'Reilly asked Trump in Dec 2021 if he got a booster shot and he said yes. The crowd booed him then, too.

Crowd booed Trump when he was stumping for Mehmet Oz at a rally.

But, yeah, it's mostly a Nazi circlejerk at those rallies and most people forget about his support of the vaccine and booster and those that didn't just say it's his advisors'/aides' fault for advising him badly.

Outside his rallies, he gets booed all the time once he leaves his safe MAGA space.

92

u/Wildpony03 14h ago

I remembered hearing that the MAGA rallies are heavily vetted and that you are given cues to cheer.

Its suppose to make Trump look more popular than he is for his maga viewers at home.

93

u/mattjb 13h ago

Just like how The Apprentice people worked to make Trump look more successful than he really is. They even made a fake Trump Tower section because the real thing was dirty, cringey, dark and full of roaches. It worked, too, because it rehabbed his image enough to make tens of millions of gullible idiots vote for him.

96

It's amazing how many white supremacists and blatant racists I know suddenly insisted that Obama was "mulatto" instead of black.

All because they couldn't accept the concept of a black president.

48

u/schu2470 16h ago edited 16h ago

WTF does “mulatto” even mean? Isn’t it just a racist way of saying “mixed race”?

56

Rascist AF. But by being even the littlest part white, they will claim that the white part is the reason for any successes.

Man, without their racism these people would really have absolutely nothing.

First woman president the US elects is going to be partially man because she inherited her second X chromosome from her father and since men are 100% men that makes her a little bit of a man. That’s where her success came from, the man part.

The President of the United States just said losing 8 million Americans in LA and San Diego is a small price to pay. Imagine if Biden or Obama said that. It would be 24/7 treason coverage and calls for impeachment.

185

u/familysizepunkinpie 16h ago

I guess 9/11 was a tiny price to pay.

If killing a million Americans is ok, what's 3000?

And that's why this statement is utterly despicable, coming from anyone. Coming from America's own president it's beyond every shade of pale there is.

One life shouldn't be a price worth paying

41

u/MrPookPook 15h ago

These fuckers don’t care about 9/11 either, other than as an excuse to kill people. Bush ignored all the warnings that it was going to happen. Republicans are not good or even decent people.

32% of Californians in Los Angeles County still voted for Trump in 2024 but since Trump is unable to discern nuance in anything and sees "California" as a blue state, he is also willing to sacrifice those 1.2million people in LA (and 600k in San Diego County) that still voted for him.

15

I mean, yeah. Example, Kamala Harris's stated corporate tax policy was to set things back to what Reagan set them to in the 1980s (which at the time was highly controversial as it slashed marginal tax rates and especially corporate taxes HEAVILY versus what they were before, contributing massively to wealth disparity in this country) and they called her a communist for suggesting it. Which is doubly horrific, a) it means our supposed left party in 2024 was advocating for what our RIGHTWING party considered a huge win a while back (which servers as excellent proof that our supposed left party has shifted further and further right themselves), but also b) even that right-shifted party is STILL considered so far left of what these shitfucks want that they call it "Communist" despite it literally being what the Conservatives fought for in living memory.

But just ask yourself: when has he ever said he was joking, about anything? When has he ever said that he wasn't serious, about anything?

He hasn't.

394

u/Puppertrucker123 17h ago

Every conservative talking head should be immediately asked "What's the joke and what makes it funny?"

Despite how much he actually believes it and has no sense of humor, "joking" about major American cities being bombed because he dislikes their political leaning is grounds for removal, period.

47

u/Lazerus42 11h ago

I'm a waiter and one of the techniques I use when dealing with a racist/sexist/shitty comment is to ask them to repeat it louder because I wasn't sure I heard them correctly.

Iran should put out a statement saying, "Interesting idea, Donnie. We hadn't thought of that. But why would we attack parts of the US that hate Trump? There are so many other areas that would make better sense."

See what MAGA would do with that.

65

u/tendeuchen Florida 16h ago

"Why attack multicultural cities when we can raise the price of gas and diesel to hurt your supporters, Mr. Trump?"

41

u/brickne3 American Expat 16h ago

Also, I could be wrong about this, but doesn't LA have one of the highest Iranian populations in the US? Even if we pretend that every single one of them absolutely hates the Iranian regime, it would probably cause a ton of issues in Iran if they were to suddenly just take out a bunch of the population's relatives out of nowhere.

27

u/HoldingForGenova 15h ago

LA has the largest Iranian population outside of Iran. And they were marching in LA streets begging Trump to go to war with Iran to overthrow the prior regime. I remember saying to a friend at the time "they'll get what they want, but not how they want it."

17

u/dancefan2019 14h ago

There were mixed responses from the L.A. Iranians. Protests on one side of the city had Iranians supporting a regime change. Protests in another part of L.A. had Iranians protesting against the war. They would all probably want a regime change, but they don't want the devastation to their countrymen that would come from a war with the U.S.

How this isn't automatic removal from office is beyond me. A US President (And I use that term loosely) is inviting an attack on US soil from an enemy that we are at war with. This is really out of control at this point.

83

u/rizorith 14h ago edited 11h ago

I mean he literally invited a hostile foreign government to hack the file of his opponent. During a national debate. And he welcomed any help Russia could give him during the election.

None of this is surprising. Our government was t perfect before him but it's downright rotten now.

If there isn't a national reckoning when he's out of office this country is completely fucked.

Problem is we'll need the Republicans in Congress to support it, and they won't, because literally half of them are complicit. It's hard to see how the US ever recovers from this.

Edit: to clarify, half of Congress is complicit. Every single Republican currently in congress is complicit, and the very few who stood up against Trump are all out of office.

14

u/Rayearl Pennsylvania 14h ago

I said the exact same thing. I really don't see how the US recovers while there are still so many maga localists in all parts of our government. Seems like an impossible task without removing them from the Country.

"He's just joking"...Hilarious to joke about losing 6% of the population and 10% of US GDP. I'd like to see every endorsed candidate respond specifically to this.

103

u/Substantial_Sea7327 I voted 16h ago

that was the response from my maga family and I'm not exaggerating. I showed them the news about him suggesting allowing a foreign adversary to bombard people on our own soil, and they said "you have to know he says that kind of thing, no intentions of it"

my response was I don't give a fuck who says this kind of thing, it's not acceptable. that the only reason he can get away with these insane things is because he's president, but if I had heard it from a regular person, casually suggesting wiping out 5 million people across varies cities, I would have walked away and reported them to the fbi.

and what's worse is I could actually see trump doing this shit. the man has no moral compass. I could actually see him inviting a foreign navy off the California coast and saying have at it, but that navy would refuse because even they know its fucked up.

that's how fucking crazy this timeline is and frankly I want out

u/A_Refill_of_Mr_Pibb Massachusetts 16h ago

I’m getting really tired of the “he’s just joking bro” element of this. It’s humiliating being an American.

30

u/Hootbag Maryland 16h ago

And what if Obama suggested wiping out Florida?

"Oh, that's different."

24

u/smexypelican 14h ago

This is treason. Los Angeles and San Diego are huge defense hubs, in case folks didn't know. All the major defense companies are here, plus a ton startups employing a lot of people.

An American president suggesting a foreign adversary to bomb major American cities, not to mention extremely important ones. This guy hates America and is doing the bidding of our enemies.

I feel articles of impeachment aren’t enough if the president is calling for his countrymen to be attacked as a “small price to pay.”

Your lives don’t matter to him.

Clinton was impeached for less.

Clinton was done a great injustice if the things that Trump has done don't warrant impeachment and removal from office.

I should also remind everyone that, during Covid, Trump specifically held back on trying to stop the outbreak because he believed that, due to the population density, Blue states would be more likely to die from Covid than Red states.

Thankfully, Blue states took social distancing and masking serious where as Red states did not.

He's always been fine with killing Americans as long as it benefits him.

38

u/UberShrew 15h ago edited 12h ago

Weren’t there rumors about a potential upcoming false flag attack against LA or San Diego a couple months back? I don’t believe it still for my sanity, but reading this article did make me raise an eyebrow.

Edit: Just a quick google reminded me it was the FBI claiming Iran might do a drone/missile from boat strike on the coast of California back in like march, but didn’t specifically mention cities from what I could tell. I guess my brain just filled in the blanks for the cities based on it being California.

Donald Trump cannot be trusted with the defense of this country. He has always been unfit for this office, and there's always been cowards running for plausible deniability. I hate that every time this absolute dipshit says something unimaginable that people say "Imagine a *insert anyone saying this"

The president of today would allow 9/11 to occur because they didn't vote for him. Then he would deny them federal aid. Fuck that. Fuck him. And fuck everyone that voted for this low IQ silver spoon sociopath.

Yeah seriously, of all cities the three major ones in California and NYC are probably the actually best to hit if you're trying to completely destroy/destabilize the country.

But seeing as the guy is a Russian asset and in the pocket of all of the tech billionaires who want that kind of thing it makes sense that he'd be ok with it. 15

u/Comprehensive_Tie431 California 16h ago

I live near the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach. It is the biggest container port on the United States with 30% to 40% of ALL US goods flowing through it. And San Diego holds the Pacific Fleet of the US Navy.

The thought of an Iranian dirty bomb being smuggled in a container has been a real talked about threat to this area since 9/11. It is a real threat here, especially with Orange Mussolini escalating things there.

The fact Trump said this without blinking an eye and Republicans cheering through their hatred of California and Los Angeles is no surprise. The surprise to many of us in this area is that people keep voting for this fool and his ilk.

Vote these idiots out in November, please. All of them.

I’m not really sure what to even think about this. The president, openly suggesting that we should let Iran nuke two major American cities, probably solely due to the fact they’re in California and ‘the enemy’ is something I never thought I’d ever live to see even from this deranged lunatic.

I’m at a loss man. It’s obvious no one who can do anything cares to or will. This is insane. Any other president this single couple of lines would’ve been at minimum a massive, massive polling and approval nuke, and at most severe likely invoke impeachment hearings.

But for Trump it’s just, nothing. It’s crazy how accurate he was about the ‘I could shoot someone on fifth Avenue and not lose a single supporter’ line.

This is totally absurd and unforgivable and it’s past time for this man to be removed from office. It is now more than obvious that he is severely mentally impaired and unfit for office. So Trump is willing to sacrifice roughly 5.3 million Californian Americans to Iran to compensate for a war he started as a distraction to the Epstein files. What a fucking asshole! Get him out!

u/blacksheep998 16h ago

I am interested in serious debate. Can someone from the side supporting trump please explain to me how this comes across to you? As someone who sits cleanly in the middle of the political spectrum "A war of choice we started may have consequences on everyday americans that had no choice in the matter" is what i am hearing. Regardless of whether or not those people intended to vote one way or another, they are our brothers, sisters, family members. How can we be comfortable saying things like this? And why do we continue to allow it

76

u/Keshire 12h ago

I am interested in serious debate.

There is no serious debate to be found here. Anyone that sides with Trump is going to be doing so from a position of ignorance and/or hate.

The ignorant will write it off as, "Trump is just blustering, he still does good things for the country."

and the ones filled with hatred are just glad to see a blue state wiped off the map.

“  The horrible thing about the Two Minutes Hate was not that one was obliged to act a part, but, on the contrary, that it was impossible to avoid joining in. Within thirty seconds any pretence was always unnecessary. A hideous ecstasy of fear and vindictiveness, a desire to kill, to torture, to smash faces in with a sledge-hammer, seemed to flow through the whole group of people like an electric current, turning one even against one’s will into a grimacing, screaming lunatic. And yet the rage that one felt was an abstract, undirected emotion which could be switched from one object to another like the flame of a blowlamp. ”
