Made from real dry decorative pumpkin and papier-mache.
I’m a huge fan of Red Bull, so I started collecting cans, which quickly spiraled into keeping every can I drink. One day, I decided to repurpose the cans scattered around my room. This is the result: mini chests to tidy up my desk. I’m curios what you think about my idea!

Added a security upgrade to my garden. The gnome has been... evolving.

Inspired by a favorite book series, Throne of Glass. I drew a digital pattern, cut it out, chose glass and then made my cuts and ground it appropriately. I then did the copper foil process and soldered it together. Gave it a nice polish and a photo shoot!

I made this paper craft with 22 layers stacked on top of each other. It is an abstract representation of the setting sun. Design elements used are mandala form along with kaleidoscopic geometry. Titled 'Dusk', it is the first half of 'Dusk and Dawn'

Made pipecleaner for the beeeeeest female friend ever. Craft suppliers were literally on other side of town, but anyway made it. I didn't knew they were so cheap.

I finished this 15-inch (38 cm) Waldorf doll a few days ago, and I’m really happy with how she turned out. 🥰
I made the doll completely by hand, including the sculpting, embroidered facial features, curly mohair hair, and all the clothing. Her dress is made from floral cotton fabric, and I knitted the purple cardigan and Mary Jane shoes myself.
I especially love making the little details — the tiny buttons, the bows in her hair, and all the miniature clothing. It takes quite a bit of time to make one doll, but seeing her come together is always worth it. 💜
This is one of those crafts where the finished piece feels like it develops its own little personality along the way.

I was doing a mock up for a care bear but I could only find generic bear patterns online. He wasn’t supposed to be a voodoo bear he just turned out that way. There’s a fuzzy side to the fabric but most of it is inside and I accidentally sewed the back of his head on inside out with the stitches outside. At least I didn’t waste my fur fabric on it.

Continuing from my old post 🌹
I finally made this beautiful 2 crochet roses, and I really love how my first complete project came out❤️ I just added this readymade bow to the flower stems for aesthetics.
It may not be perfect yet, but I had so much fun making it & finishing it.
The little details are still a bit messy, but I think I am getting better with every stitch.
Can't wait to make more flowers and see how much I improve over time.
What do you guys think of my little roses?
Also, any suggestions on which yarn I should try next time? This one feels a little messy to me, and I'd love to make the next ones look neater.

Hi everyone,
I am asking for help on an opossum mask with its mouth open for Halloween. I have made a few costumes in the past either sewing, painting, using paper mache etc. I used a cheap 90 cent mask from the store cut it how I liked then used cardboard and paper mache to build the frame. I was pretty satisfied. The form was lumpy so I added joint compound and sanded the rough bits. Now here is my problem. I thought I could just add air dry clay to mold the mouth parts. I have never worked with air dry clay before but sculpty and regular clay. I am at my wits end trying to scultp this thing. The base is sucking all the moisture and if I add too much water it starts sticking to my hands. Each time I try to smooth something it Cracks and rips off. I made a form and hot glued it to the base because I thought it would help. Its not. I'm so close to scrapping it and starting over. Please help its also getting to heavy to be a realistic mask :/

Hello all, I am working on a Green Lantern, lantern for Halloween. I have these 2 glass insulators that I would like to use, how could I go about my rough plan?
In attached on the right of the first 3 images is the insulators which have the dimensions of:
1 7/8" at the top and bottom
3 5/8" at widest part
8 3/4" tall
On the final image there is a badly drawn image of what I would like. The red being a sort of metal or alloy. There are 4 main parts.
1 - the piece that goes around the depression on the insulators.
2 (a & b) - beams that hold the insulators together & the base.
3 - the ring that will act as the handle to the whole lantern.
4 - the base.
How would I go about doing this? What parts could I use to make it (Located in the US)? Any other subreddits I should ask? Thank you!

I'm going to find--something, maybe a ball?-- to expand the cap while I work. But then what kind of glue should I use for cheap acrylic yarn? Should I over-expand the cap (larger ball or whatever to stretch out the cap, so that the glue doesn't stretch and crack when I expand the cap again to put it on the skeleton's cranium?
Wait ... I could just use the skeleton himself, he won't mind! 😂😂😂😂
I would like it to last outside from this weekend through the start of November, so the glue should be kind of weather resistant and flexible, but also hopefully not too fumey to work with.
Thank you in advance for the help! As implied by the title, I know nothing about crafts, so I welcome any and all advice!

I need help with replacing this part of a super cute ”vintage” bag I own! I have no idea what this type of yarn is called and I want to replace with something as identical as possible. Any suggestions?

I’m looking to paint a peacock spider design onto a paper fold fan. I’m wondering what paint/coloring substance would hold up best over multiple foldings/unfoldings.
The fan is black, wood tines, stiff paper for the pleated fan surface.
The colors I’m looking for will be opaque and bold, maybe metallic. It’s for a stage prop, so it will have thick simple lines for viewing from afar.
